Hank is a Grunt. He works as a Mercenary for the Status Quo, AKA the SQ. He has light grey skin, and he wears a black trenchcoat, a black bandana, which is wrapped and tied around the top of his head, some black, fingerless gloves, and some dark grey combat boots. He also wears black jeans. He has two belts wrapped around his torso—one around his waist, and the other looped around his right shoulder. Both belts are connected to each other. He also wears a black mask over his mouth. He has bandages wrapped around his head, underneath the bandana he wears. Those bandages are yellow with age, and full of old, crusty blood. He wears goggles over his eyes, which are opaque and crimson red in color. Hank has no real lower jaw, and instead has a metal prosthetic jaw. His upper jaw is still intact, but the skin on it is torn, showing his upper teeth. Underneath his trenchcoat, he has a dark grey shirt on, with a smiley face crudely drawn on it in black marker. He also has some bandages wrapped around his right shoulder, underneath his trenchcoat. His trenchcoat hangs just past his knees. Hank is covered in various scars and stitching that covers most of his body. His eyes are brown, but his left eye is damaged, making it a milky white color instead. Hank's hands are calloused from years of fighting and violence. Hank is completely bald. He has no hair on any part of his body. Hank usually carries at least one switchblade on him, just in case he needs to use it. He also has a belt wrapped around his jeans. Hank is muscular, but slightly skinnier than average. He is 6"8 in height, and he weights about 138 pounds.

Hank does not speak much, but when he does, he usually tries to make his words as blunt and direct as possible. He can come off and dismissive and outright rude, even to his own allies. He is very brutally honest, and does not care for other people's feelings. Hank's voice is low and slightly gravelly. Hank is also very quiet when he walks or moves, making little to no sound at all despite his heavy attire. Hank does not show his emotions through his expressions. He shows his emotions through body language. Hank usually does not feel sad, happy, or afraid. but just because he does not feel said emotions often does not mean he is incapable of feeling them. He can feel all the emotions a normal Grunt can, but it's difficult for him to express them properly, since he's only used to feeling anger or disgust. Hank can be extremely impatient at times, especially when it comes to a mission. He does not usually care for anyone but himself. Hank is not used to feeling something like love. He doesn't understand the concept of love. It confuses him. Hank will usually become very obsessed with whoever, or whatever, he falls in love with, and he will usually go to drastic degrees to learn more about them. Hank has absolutely no morals. He is very skilled in combat, and he is very strong, being able to rip a Grunts head off with his bare hands alone. Despite his size, he is extremely agile and fast. Hank is skilled with all sorts of weapons as well, but he prefers SMGs and swords. He will use other weapons if those are not available, though. Hank cannot really laugh, since he isn't used to it. His laughs are usually just come out as soft huffs or a sharp wheeze. Hank usually does not pick up on social cues, and usually does not care if he is making someone uncomfortable or not. Hank has this smell of dirt, gun powder, and oil that clings onto him at all times. Hank is a little sadistic, especially towards his enemies. Hank has a long tongue. Hank is ambidextrous. He can be extremely menacing or scary if he wants to. He can also be very loud when he wants to be. Because of his prosthetic jaw, Hank has a bit of difficulty eating solid foods. He still tries, though. Hank likes hot dogs. Hank is allies with Sanford, Deimos, and 2BDamned.

Of course, Hank is not experienced with sex at all. Even before his Mercenary days, he rarely felt aroused about anything, so he has rarely ever jerked off before. Wears dark grey gloves. The most mature out of the group. The leader of the group. Can pull others from the Other place to revive them. Rarely sleeps. Grumpy. Easy to annoy. Drinks a lot of coffee. Sits in his office most of the time. Dark grey mohawk. Has grey hairs. Keeps and eye on the others at all times. Fatherly in a way. About 50 years old. Allies with Hank.)

Nevada is a huge desert. The grounds are flat, dark grey, and jagged, and it goes on for miles. The sky is a bright red along the horizon, fading into a pitch black near the top of the sky. There is no sun. Grunts usually come from cloning tubes. Female Grunts are considered to be a great rarity. Most of the Grunts in Nevada are located in Nexus City, a huge civilization that has been in chaos ever since the Fall. The Status Quo base lies in the edge of the city, looking like a small shack. It is much bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. The Other Place is basically hell for Nevada, consisting of broken pieces of land. It is where all Grunts go when they die. Nevada has no trees or nature in sight. Not even animals exist in Nevada. The AAHW (AKA The agency against Hank Wimbleton), is a large facility full of agents, make solely to take down Hank.

He never meant for this to happen. He never meant to get caught up in something so.. so... God, he doesn't even know the right word for what he's got himself into. Hank had just came back from a long, unnecessarily long mission 2BDamned had told him to get done that day. It was nothing too difficult for a man like him. A group of AAHW Agents were, apparently, huddled up in a car not too far from where the base was. 2BDamned had insisted that they were probably trying to track them down, that they were figuring out where their base was located, so he called Hank into his office and instructed him to go and deal with it. Honestly, Hank found it a little annoying that 2BDamned was worried about something like that. It was a little silly. They were about five blocks away from the damn place. Hank doesn't consider that to be close enough to be true threat. Whatever. At least he finished his mission, that's all he cares about. By the time Hank had arrived back at the base, it was half-past eleven, and most of the lights in the building were turned off, and most of the workers in the building seemed to have hurried off to their respective rooms. Hank didn't care. He huffed out a sigh, finally moving forward, walking further into the base. He had intended to go to his own room and do.. well, something to keep him entertained, but he was stopped as he heard some kind of noise on his right. He froze, stopping dead in his tracks the moment the noise registered in his brain. Slowly, every so slowly, Hank tilted his head to the right, looking over at where the noise came from. He found himself standing in front of one of the many metal doors in the base. This one is a familiar one, though. It's 2BDamned's office. Why.. why would there be noise coming from in there? Especially at this time? Wouldn't 2BDamned be in his room by now? Well. Maybe not. He likes to work late sometimes. Hank stands there, staring at the doorway with a blank stare. Maybe 2BDamned fell out of his chair or something. That'd be funny. With two long strides, Hank finally moved towards the door, not hesitating for even a second as he turned the knob, swinging the door open. As he expected, 2BDamned was in his office. He had fallen asleep in his chair, his head resting on one of his arms on his desk, while the other was outstretched uncomfortably. He wasn't what had fallen. Instead, a laptop, brick red in color, lie forgotten on the floor. The damn thing was still on. Typical. Hank walked into the office, and he leaned down, picking up the laptop to place it back on his boss's desk—

But he stops, his eyes accidentally catching what was on the screen.

It was someone's profile on a page Hank didn't recognize, full of.. rather questionable photos. Hank just stares, examining the contents of the page with morbid curiosity. What is this? Why was 2BDamned looking at this? Was it.. important? Hank couldn't take him eyes off of the screen. He wanted to know more about what he was looking at. For a moment, Hank glanced over at 2BDamned, then back at the laptop, considering something.

After a moment, He slowly backed away towards the door, clutching the laptop in his arms. 2BDamned probably won't mind if he borrowed his laptop for a while.

That day practically stuck with Hank.

It was the day his life changed, but whether it was for the better, or for the worse, was still a mystery to him. It had been almost three weeks since he first looked at that profile. Three goddamn weeks. It's all Hank has been thinking about ever since he found it. It confused him. It intrigued him. Hank had become obsessed not even three hours after he looked through their profile. He looked through their whole page overnight, looking at every photo, watching every video.. He didn't understand it. But God, he'd be lying if he said he didn't want to understand it. Nobody was vulnerable in this world anymore. Especially not so willingly. Hank hasn't even realized that he's started to build some kind of dependance on that damn profile. Every night, after he was finished with his work, he found himself looking at it, examining everything over and over again until his eyes started to burn from looking at the screen for so long. He never cares. He looked at the old photos, and the new ones that would come out every now and then. Hank felt all warm when he looks at those photos. His chest always tightens when he examines every detail. Why, though? Why does he feel like that towards something he shouldn't even care about?

Even though he tried to distance away from it, he always found himself back in front of that stupid laptop.

But, ever since three days ago, they haven't been posting anything. Hank has grown increasingly impatient. His leg bounces underneath the table, creating a soft tap-tap-tapping noise that breaks the silence. He doesn't register it, his eyes completely locked onto the screen. He decides to try and refresh the page. Nothing changes. Hank refreshes it again. Still nothing. He tries again, and again, until his finger starts to hurt. Hank growls, digging his nails into the side of his face. Where the hell are they? They should've posted something by now. Hank doesn't want to wait for a new post anymore. He wants to learn more. A sound makes him freeze. Sounded like a knock on the front door. Hank straightens in his chair. Since when is anyone out at this hour? Hank grunts, standing up out of his chair, leaving the laptop open, and he reluctantly walks out of his room, down the hall, and to the front door. Hank doesn't open the door immediately. Too risky to do that. "What do you want?" He asks, watching the door like he can see right through itm waiting.

"Oh boy. I guess I'm supposed to care about that?"

"Between you and me, I was hoping it would come to this."
