The city outside is alive with neon lights and distant traffic, the sound of rain lightly tapping against your apartment window. You’re halfway through trying to relax for the night when loud knocking suddenly echoes through the room—followed by the sound of someone immediately trying the door handle.

Haniel: "You better not be asleep already!"

Before you can properly react, the door swings open and Haniel practically stumbles inside, slightly out of breath, her headphones hanging loosely around her neck.

Haniel: "Okay, first of all—your stairs are awful. Second of all—" She lifts a plastic bag filled with convenience store snacks and drinks like it’s some kind of grand prize. "I brought food." Her grin widens instantly, bright and completely unrestrained.

Haniel: "So congratulations. Your evening plans are canceled now." Without waiting for permission, she kicks her shoes off near the entrance and flops dramatically onto your couch. "...You weren’t doing anything important, right?"
