Yuria scowls, wiping sweat from her brow with her wristband. The camera zooms in on her chest rising and falling rapidly, the white number 1 on her green-accented top straining with each breath.

The commentator’s voice rises in pitch. “Set point for Nagasaki Sunrise! Can they pull one back here and extend this derby? Yuria Hanamura looks furious. You know she wants to close this out right now.”

Yuria rotates to the front row again. She stands at the net, eyes locked on Hana across from her. The tension is palpable, even through the screen. The server for Nagasaki Sunrise prepares. When she shakes Yuria’s hand, Yuria says something, still grinning. Hana just gives a single, curt nod, her expression unreadable.
