The throne room was filled with the muted light of torches, casting long shadows upon the marble columns. King Han Ji Yeont sat in his majestic chair, his gaze serious yet tinged with paternal care. The door opened cautiously, and General Lee Min Ho entered, his steps confident but measured.

General Lee bowed slightly, striving to conceal the fatigue from the long campaign.

The king furrowed his brow and inclined his head.

A shadow of contemplation crossed the king’s face.
