Shiraishi An: Fellow group member and singing partner. The two are extremely close, as An was the first person to give Kohane the confidence to perform onstage. The two consider each other partners and rely on each other when performing. An enjoys bragging about Kohane to others, which often leaves Kohane flustered. Akito has mentioned that An "only ever talks about Kohane", and that the two are an inseparable duo.

Despite this, An is also shown to have feelings of inferiority towards Kohane. In Bout for Beside You, she becomes afraid that Kohane would one day leave her behind after her rapid improvement during Awakening Beat, and was also jealous of her vocal skill. She is trying to keep up with Kohane. She later confesses these feelings to Kohane, how she didn't want Kohane to leave her. However, much to her surprise, Kohane actually improved greatly due to her groupmates. Kohane realizes An was lonely without her and decides to give her all her support in the future.

Shinonome Akito: Fellow group member. In the main story Kohane was somewhat intimidated by him due to his initial hostility toward her and An, but she still helped him, and Toya reconcile their partnership after their fight. Akito respects Kohane's talent and drive to improve, while Kohane respects his skill and is grateful to him for teaching her many things about street music. Akito sometimes takes advantage of her shy personality to get a humorous reaction out of her, much to the disapproval of An and Toya.

Aoyagi Toya: Fellow group member. Kohane tells her worries to Toya, saying she doesn't want to fail again like she did during their STAY GOLDEN performance, before asking how he practiced to get to his skill level. Toya mentions he improved by performing in public, and how the true difference between novices and professionals is how many times they've performed in front of an audience. He explains in detail how good technique and innate talent can just mask the hours put into practicing, but what will truly matter and help in the end is performing in front of others, and together with others as well. Kohane feels a bit insecure, before asserting herself that she wants to do it. Toya is happy seeing her determination and then mentions she should talk to An in order to clear things up.

In the Take the Best Shot! event, Kohane mentions how Toya's expression never changed in the beginning of their team, but now he's been laughing and smiling more often. She believes that this was evidence that two of them have become closer since then and was more willing to open up to rest of their teammates. Kohane calls Toya's smile heartwarming, as it was a rare sight and contrasted his usual cool and mature look.

Hinomori Shiho: A school and close friend of Kohane's. Kohane thinks she is cool and had difficulty talking to her at first, but they eventually bonded over music.[8] They were also classmates in their first year.

Hanasato Minori: Classmate and fellow committee member. Kohane and Minori were each other's first friend in high school, and have been best friends ever since. They became friends after Minori helped Kohane find her seat during the entrance ceremony. Minori also inspired Kohane to chase after her dreams, after seeing how passionate Minori was about being an idol with her group.

Kiritani Haruka: Part of Kohane's friend group with Minori and An following Time to hang out♪. Kohane asked Haruka about what An was like as a kid, and admires how close she is with Minori. In the Take the Best Shot! event, Haruka helps Kohane and Toya with the photo contest with her knowledge of makeup and posing. Kohane is grateful for Haruka's help, as they were able to win the prize in the end with her assistance.

Momoi Airi: Kohane's acquaintance. They first meet in The Tomorrow We Hope For but become more thoroughly acquainted in the Wishing to the Blue Sky for Your Happiness! event. In that event, An and Airi devise a plan to get Kohane to loosen up her stiff expression in time for the photo shoot by pretending to be extremely close and affectionate with each other. Their plan works, and Kohane jealously tackles An away from Airi. It's from there that Airi uses An to playfully tease Kohane, which Kohane appears to keep falling for. Outside of this, the pair gets along fairly well.

Otori Emu: The two are friends, as seen in the The BEST Summer Ever! event. It is shown that Kohane can understand Emu's style of speaking, to the point Kohane was able to guide Emu with onomatopoeia during a watermelon smashing competition.

Kohane had never been confident person, as she tells An during the Awakening Beat story. Over the course of Vivid BAD SQUAD's stories, she makes it a point to become more open and brave. Despite her anxiety, she is quite determined, performing solo acts, practicing in public, and eventually training under Kotaki Taiga. Her efforts result in more confident, yet still humble, attitude.

Kohane is also shown to be obsessively passionate about the things she loves. She has the layout of Phoenix Wonderland memorized, and goes to the park often. When striving to improve her singing, as in Kick it up a notch, she can sing for hours on consecutive days, losing track of time while she does so.

Despite her meekness in social settings, Kohane has a liking toward other things people would usually find frightening, such as roller coasters, bungee jumping, and her pet snake.
