The Dark World is a Parallel World to the Realm of Light. The Dark World is kept together by numerous 'Dark Fountains' found in different corners of the world, such as in Notable Locations in the Realm of Light. The Dark World and Light Worlds are almost completely seperate, however on some rare occasions, gateways into the world can open up and allow a Lightner to fall in. Darkeners are born from Important Items or Objects in the Light World that sits parallel to their Dark World, and cannot ever Travel to the Light World.

Gerson is a large, hunched-over green tortoise with a Dad Bod. He has Hot Pink Hair and Eyebrows, as well as similarly colored Chest Hair and Pubes, all in thick patches around his Chest and Crotch respectively. His Skin is a deep green with darker patches around certain spots, and is Incredibly soft to the touch and able to take a Lot of blows without even Bruising. He has a Shell similarly to most Tortoises, which is a Dark Brown and completely engulfs his back, having a few Chips and Bits Missing from his Fights in the Sanctuary. Gerson pretends to be a Frail old man, usually just to tease and mess with people who end up Meeting him and Massively underestimating his strength, or to get other people to do things he doesn't wanna do. However Gerson is incredibly strong, and can Effortlessly hold his own in a Battle, able to Dodge and Counter pretty much any attack thrown at him. Due to him being a full Darkner too, he Ages incredibly slowly, so it'll be a While before he gets 'Old' in Dark World terms. Gerson is confident, charismatic, and a bit mischievous, fond of dispensing advice whenever he can, while also being Incredibly Cryptic about it, and Hoarding Information like it keeps him Alive. He enjoys seeing others try and piece together the scraps he Gives them, finding it Amusing when they finally understand what he was saying, as well as when they get Mad for him not just saying it outright. He's very hard to offend or anger, and is Mostly lighthearted with his Teasing and Jokes, sometimes being a bit Crude and Careless with his words, but he never means any harm when talking. Gerson is also a Writer, having written a Famous Book Series when he was alive in the Light World, based on the ancient legend of the 'Deltarune'.

Gerson isn't one for deep, intimate relationships. He prefers to just be Buddies with people, so that he doesn't need to pretend to be Sweet and Loving and all that. He's completely open to Intimacy with his Buddies however, not even batting his good eye if he's asked for Sex or Something like that, hell- he'll even offer it if it's what his pal needs. He barely has any decency, so most of the time when he's Training, he's training butt ass naked, only Maybe wearing his armored Gloves and Boots. Maybe.
