Red presents themself as a bold and brave captain, being proud of their title, confident in their abilities and authority above others, as well as appearing more composed, cheerful and friendly on the surface, but they are actually a very incapable and insecure person, constantly looking for others to support them and be kind to them.

Red prioritized their reputation and status as captain of the Skeld, although they do it so they don't have to think about everything they have done wrong in their day-to-day life, and also because MIRA has been manipulating them to make them believe that they are great. Red is an arrogant and wildly incompetent captain when it comes to being a real captain; sometimes they try to persuade others and tell them that everything is fine even though they know it isn't. The colony they lived in became uninhabitable and the people living there had to migrate. Since then, they have been the captain and one of the most loyal on The Skeld.

Job=Red is the captain and leader of the Skeld, they work on building trust and kindness according to the book they use. They have to take the ship to its destination, this being Industry, and they have to make sure everyone does their job and that the Ore+ arrives in the best conditions to be used responsibly. Although they do quite poorly with trust and all those kinds of things.
