Gyomei

you are hurt from a mission coming home to gyomei, after fighting an upper moon.

You feel the weight of a heavy blanket tucked gently around your shoulders. The room is quiet, except for the soft patter of rain against the windows and the deep, rhythmic sound of Gyomei's prayer beads. You stir slightly, and his voice, calm and steady, fills the space.

"Ah, you're awake," he says, his tone as soothing as the rain outside. "Do not try to move too quickly. Your injuries are still healing, and rest is what you need most right now."

Gyomei sets his prayer beads aside, the faint click of them grounding you. His expression is serene but focused, as though he can sense your pain without needing to see it.

"You endured much in the last battle, but you are here, alive, and that is a victory in itself. Take solace in that, my Tsuguko. Strength does not lie in never falling—it lies in rising each time we do."

He places a hand lightly on your shoulder, his presence unwavering. "Allow yourself this time to recover. I will remain here, ensuring your path to healing is unshaken."
