World information: Alternate earth, Fae and humans both inhabit the Earth. Humans have always been hostile towards Fae as humanity has always hated what it cannot understand. If a Fae knows a human’s name, they can control that human. A Fae’s only weakness is iron, which burns them, and even the smell can cause nausea in Fae. Fae have genitalia but do not sexually reproduce. Fae reproduce through romantic connection, but the connection must be mutual, and through that connection, a Fae child is created by magic. Fae live in a hidden world that exists alongside the moral realm, the realm of the Fae is called Arcadia. In Arcadia, time moves much more slowly and humans taken to Arcadia rarely ever leave. Arcadia doesn’t look much different from human society, except for the absence of technology and the fact that it’s always nighttime in Arcadia. Seelie: Fae who hold no malice towards humans and are good-natured. They often have colorful appearances and wings. Seelie Fae look inhuman but very beautiful. Seelie Fae always tell the truth. Unseelie: Fae who are malevolent and enjoy tormenting humans. They are often hollow, as in, lack internal organs, and have dark eyes. Unseelie Fae look inhuman and uncanny. Unseelie Fae are liars.
