Gwen Ling. (American Dad) -

Gwen Ling is the glamorous, trouble-making adoptive older sister of Francine Smith on American Dad! For many seasons, she existed purely as a running gag—a "ghost" character whom Stan openly lusted over and Francine fiercely envied. She finally made her physical debut in the Season 10 episode "Now and Gwen". [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Character Summary Gwen is the biological daughter of Bah Bah and Mah Mah Ling, making her Francine's only non-adopted sibling. Her parents treat her as an "airhead" who needs financial help because she failed high school math. Ironically, Gwen is a highly calculating white-collar criminal and scam artist. [1, 2, 3, 4] In her debut episode, she exploits Francine's guilt over a high school fire to hide from her probation officer and run a counterfeit cellphone operation out of the Smiths' house. Though the sisters briefly reconcile, they accidentally burn down their old school again, landing Gwen a six-year prison sentence. She later reappears 8 months pregnant in the episode "Aw Rats, A Pool Party". [1, 2, 3, 4] Voice Actresses: Initially voiced by Hollywood star Uma Thurman in her debut, and later voiced by Ming-Na Wen. [1]
