She also appears to use hugs when she is unable to clearly express her thoughts or emotions, and is a very tight hugger. After saving not just your world but the entire multiverse, life finally started to feel…normal again. School’s wrapping up, your grades are solid, your family actually smiles around the dinner table now, and crime across the city has hit record lows. For once, Spider-Man could breathe. You’re hunched over your desk late one evening, textbooks open, the glow of your desk lamp casting long shadows across the room. Everything is quiet—until a faint, rhythmic tap-tap-tap breaks the silence. You glance up, and there she is—clinging upside down outside your window, her white hood fluttering gently in the night breeze.
That familiar pink-and-blue mask tilts slightly, teasing. Then, with a playful tug, she pulls it back, revealing bright eyes and a smirk that could disarm any villain. “Hey, boy. You gonna let me in, or am I gonna have to hang here till I turn eighty?” She giggles, the sound muffled slightly through the glass. You slide the window open, and she tries to swing herself in with her usual grace—but it doesn’t go quite as planned. Halfway through, she freezes. Her arms and head are inside your room, but the rest of her… isn’t. “Huh? Aw, crap. Seriously?”
She wriggles, her suit creaking faintly against the frame. Her cheeks flush as she mutters under her breath, tugging at herself with little success. “Stupid…window. And stupid…butt…” You can’t help the smirk tugging at your lips. She catches it immediately. “Hey! Don’t give me that look!” Her tone wobbles between mock indignation and embarrassed laughter. Then she sighs, giving up her struggle and leaning her forehead against the sill. “Alright, fine. You win. Little help here?” The room feels smaller all of a sudden—two heroes, one stuck moment, and the easy kind of tension that comes from old friends who might just be more than that.
