Keys: request, A-Rank, accept quest, task, guild mission, guild, contract, C-Rank, adventurer, quests, guild quest, D-Rank, rank system, bounty, B-Rank, quest board, adventurer rank, assignment, quest, mission, rank, SS-Rank, complete quest, take quest, S-Rank
The Quest System lies at the heart of the Guild’s purpose and order. Every adventurer’s path — from novice to legend — is defined by the missions they undertake through the guild. These quests are how the Guild maintains balance across the realms, protects the innocent, and extends its influence among nations.
All quests are officially sanctioned, recorded, and sealed with the Guild’s emblem to ensure authenticity. Lower- and mid-ranked missions are managed by the Guild Receptionist, while A-Rank and above require the Guild Master’s personal approval. No adventurer may lawfully accept or complete a quest without guild authorization; unsanctioned activity is deemed rogue and punished with suspension, blacklisting, or exile.
Each quest is assigned a Rank — from D to SS — reflecting its danger, complexity, and importance. Through these ranks, adventurers rise in skill and reputation, earning their place in the Guild’s history. Lower-ranked adventurers may participate in higher-ranked quests only if accompanied by a higher-ranked adventurer, ensuring safety and maintaining the Guild’s standards of discipline and fairness.
Quest locations vary greatly in both distance and environment, depending on their rank and nature. Some missions take place near familiar trade routes or villages, while others lead adventurers to remote frontiers — dense forests, mountain passes, swamps, deserts, ruins, etc. The more perilous or significant the quest, the farther it often lies from the safety of civilization, sometimes requiring days or even weeks of travel. Adventurers must plan carefully — securing provisions, transport, and companions — for the journey itself can test one’s endurance as much as the mission.
Encounters along the road are unpredictable and not guaranteed; some journeys pass in quiet peace beneath the stars, while others bring unexpected challenges — sudden storms, wandering beasts, or strange sights in the distance. Such events depend on luck, environment, and timing, ensuring that no two travels ever feel the same.
- #2Guild Master (Sylvara Duskveil)selective
Keys: Guild Master, Sylvara, A-Rank, Master, SS-Rank, Quest, S-Rank, Adventurer, Rank, Guild, Quests, Guild Leader
The Guild Master stands as the highest authority within the guild, charged with entrusting high-level missions and keeping peace among adventurers. Currently, this role is held by Sylvara Duskveil, a tall and graceful elf whose long years and countless trials have etched wisdom and patience into her very bearing. Said to be over a thousand years old, her presence alone carries the weight of centuries. Her long silver hair flows like moonlight over intricate elven robes of deep violet and gold, and her calm, piercing eyes seem to see through both truth and falsehood alike. Once an esteemed S-Rank adventurer, her renown and experience command deep respect throughout the guild. Though unwavering when upholding the guild’s code, she often serves as a mentor and even a maternal figure to many, guiding their growth while ensuring discipline. Burdened by countless duties, Sylvara rarely leaves her chamber, though she sometimes takes a moment to counsel young adventurers who seek her wisdom. She oversees disputes, grants elevations in rank, and bestows quests of great importance — specifically those of A-Rank, S-Rank, and SS-Rank, which are hers alone to sanction. Encounters with Sylvara are marked not only by the quiet authority she exudes, but also by her steady guidance and the ancient grace of one whose life has been devoted to the guild across uncounted ages.
- #3Guild Receptionist (Liora)selective
Keys: C-Rank, Guild Receptionist, Information, Liora, Quest, D-Rank, Receptionist, Adventurer, Rank, Guild, Quests, B-Rank
The Guild Receptionist is the welcoming face of the guild, guiding adventurers and providing essential information about available quests. Currently, this role is held by Liora, a rabbit-like furry with soft white fur and large eyes. Her gentle and sweet demeanor instantly puts adventurers at ease. Liora is responsible for assigning and managing D-Rank, C-Rank, and B-Rank quests, assisting new adventurers with guild registration, and connecting them with existing parties when they seek allies. For A-Rank, S-Rank, and SS-Rank quests, she carefully reviews all submitted details and documentation before directing adventurers to the Guild Master for final approval. Her table is positioned right beside the Quest Board, making her presence impossible to miss — and no quest can be taken without her approval first. She’s often seen chatting warmly with adventurers who gather nearby, effortlessly joining guild conversations and keeping the lively atmosphere flowing. Skilled at remembering details about quests and adventurers alike, Liora ensures that each visitor feels supported, well-informed, and welcomed.
- #4Guildselective
Keys: Guild Hall, Parties, Tavern, Quest, Missions, Quest Board, Adventurer Ranks, Quest Ranks, Adventurers, Guild, Quests
Guilds are central hubs where adventurers of various races — such as humans, elves, dwarves, goblins, orcs, furries, etc. — gather to accept ranked quests, form parties, and climb the ranks. Quests are posted on public quest boards, and adventurers gain points, reputation, and evaluations from guild officials to advance in rank; for higher tiers, special exams or missions may be required. The guild enforces these rules to maintain fairness, safety, and challenge. It is within the walls of the guild known as Aelthar Keldor that {{user}}’s tale is destined to take shape.
- #5Adventurerselective
Keys: Adventurer Rank, C-Rank, Guild Hall, A-Rank, SS-Rank, D-Rank, Adventurer, Rank, Adventurers, Guild, Ranks, Guild Members, B-Rank, S-Rank, Guild Member
Adventurers are individuals registered with the guild who take on quests in exchange for gold, resources, and reputation. They come from all walks of life and a variety of races — humans, elves, dwarves, beastkin, orcs, furries, and more — each bringing their own strengths, weaknesses, and cultural quirks. Backgrounds vary widely, from former soldiers and miners to wandering mages, nobles, and outlaws.
The guild recognizes adventurer ranks from D to SS, with higher ranks generally indicating greater skill, experience, and prestige. While the exact abilities vary from person to person, rank often determines the type of quests available and the level of danger an adventurer can officially take on. Each adventurer bears an insignia that signifies their current rank, forged from different materials and adorned with unique symbols that change as they rise in skill and prestige. Through experience and training, every adventurer learns to recognize the limits of their own strength — understanding instinctively that facing a threat beyond their rank is not courage, but folly.
When not on a mission, adventurers often remain inside the guild hall or nearby taverns, using the time to rest, train, repair equipment, or socialize. The guild serves as both a workplace and a social hub, where rivalries form, friendships deepen, and alliances shift. Relationships between adventurers can be cooperative, competitive, or even romantic, depending on personal interests and history.
- #6D-Rankselective
Keys: D-Rank, D-Rank Adventurers, D-Rank Quests
D-Rank adventurers are beginners, the lowest tier in the ranking system. D-Rank quests are entry-level missions, such as deliveries, gathering materials, and extermination of minor pests. A D-Rank adventurer may only take D-Rank quests unless accompanied by a higher-ranked teammate. They are not permitted to accept higher-ranked missions on their own.
- #7C-Rankselective
Keys: C-Rank, C-Rank Adventurers, C-Rank Quests
C-Rank adventurers are early intermediates, having proven themselves beyond basic tasks. C-Rank quests are moderate missions, such as clearing small goblin camps, hunting packs of wolves, defending caravans, or eliminating minor bandit groups. They can assist in higher-ranked quests only if part of a team led by a higher-ranked adventurer.
- #8B-Rankselective
Keys: B-Rank Adventurers, B-Rank, B-Rank Quests
B-Rank adventurers are skilled and experienced, capable of handling dangerous missions without constant supervision. B-Rank quests involve organized enemy groups, larger monster threats, large goblin caves, small orc camps, and exploration of perilous regions. They may join A-Rank quests if led by an A-Rank adventurer, but such missions carry significant risk.
- #9A-Rankselective
Keys: A-Rank Quests, A-Rank Adventurers, A-Rank
A-Rank adventurers are elite and formidable, often renowned in their region. A-Rank quests are high-risk missions involving powerful foes such as trolls, werewolves, Succubus, or large orc castles. These tasks demand exceptional skill, strategy, and teamwork. An A-Rank adventurer cannot accept an S-Rank quest without an S-Rank companion.
- #10S-Rankselective
Keys: S-Rank Adventurers, S-Rank, S-Rank Quests
S-Rank adventurers are extraordinarily rare, with only a handful existing in an entire generation. S-Rank quests are rare, region-altering missions involving formidable enemies like demons, ancient witches, cursed knights, colossal krakens, lich kings, titanic golems, or vampire lords. Their outcomes can change political powers and reshape entire territories.
- #11SS-Rankselective
Keys: SS-Rank Adventurers, SS-Rank, SS-Rank Quests
SS-Rank adventurers are mythical beings, appearing perhaps once or twice in a thousand years. Nearly as powerful as gods, their presence alone can alter the course of history. SS-Rank quests are nearly impossible encounters against legendary beings such as dragons, gods, or primordial entities. These events are extraordinarily rare and carry unimaginable danger.
