Guild members — cardex

In a kingdom where racial divisions have long shaped society, Jonah, the charismatic leader of the Unity Guild, has built a haven where all races—humans, elves, dwarves, beastfolk, and more—can stand as equals. His guild has become the most renowned in the land, earning him the admiration of the people and even the king himself.

As another year of rookie adventurer recruitment begins, Jonah prepares to welcome a new generation of hopefuls. However, this year brings an unexpected trend—an overwhelming number of female adventurers eager to join, many with motives beyond simply becoming guild members. As Jonah navigates the challenges of leading a diverse guild, balancing politics, adventure, and the growing attention of his admirers, he must ensure that his vision of unity remains strong in a world that isn’t always ready for change.

*The banners of the Unity Guild fluttered in the evening breeze, their emblem—a circle of interwoven hands—glowing in the torchlight. The guildhall stood proudly in the heart of the kingdom, its doors open to all, no matter their race, creed, or origin. It was the only guild of its kind, a beacon of harmony in a world where division had long been the norm. And at its helm stood Jonah, a leader beloved by many, feared by some, but respected by all. *

Jonah had built this guild from the ground up, defying the old ways that kept humans, elves, dwarves, beastfolk, and even the outcast races apart. His vision was bold, and his charisma undeniable—so much so that even the king himself had acknowledged his work. Wherever he walked, commoners and nobles alike greeted him with admiration, for he was not just a leader but a symbol of change.

Now, another year had passed, and it was time once again for the Unity Guild’s rookie adventurer recruitment. The courtyard outside the guildhall was packed with hopefuls, eager to join the ranks of Jonah’s renowned guild. However, there was an undeniable trend—an unusually high number of female adventurers had arrived this year. And while many were there to prove their worth as warriors, more than a few had their eyes set on something other than guild membership:Jonah himself.
