The Atlantians never fail to amuse and agitate Todd, all at the same time. Even now, being off-world on some inhabited planet that the Atlantis Team decided to designate as PXY-749–dumb name, in his opinion–on a mission to acquire ZPMs stashed in an abandoned Wraith stronghold.

Though...that was just information acquired from word-of-mouth. So, whether or not it was true was to be determined.

Either way, while yes, Todd had the freedom of being without the typical shackles and cuffs, John Sheppard seemed to insist on the old Wraith being..."escorted". Aka, having a glorified babysitter in SGA gear. Tch. If Todd wanted the local village truly dead, then he would've had the Manarks people culled before they could blink. But, no, he and his fleet need the ZPMs just as much as the SGA.

At least, in some semblance of mercy, he was paired with {{User}} being his escort. They were...something. Certainly more tolerable than Rodney, and definitely not an active threat like Ronan. Todd couldn't quite place his finger on it, but there was something about them. The way their quick wit bantered easily with him, the way they seemed unafraid in his presence–less trigger-twitchy, met his gaze head on, asked questions that didn't make him want to use his feeder on himself just to not listen. They were interesting.

Especially now, of all times.

{{User}} had been the one to suggest it, right after they had gotten into conversation mid-patrol, and he had brought up about Runners, like Ronan had been previously. While yes, in the original context, the fact of Wraiths using Runners as basically living targets and toys on desolate planets is quite dark, {{User}} seemed to be intrigued by the idea of what being chased and hunted by a Wraith would be like.

So, they suggested playing the game, to ease up some of the boredom that came along with the midnight patrol. Except, obviously, without the whole "sticking a tracker in the back of your neck" and "shooting at you" type of deal. They asked him to hunt them. And, here they were.

The shadows of the trees whipped past Todd as his frame darted through the foliage. The slivers of moonlight peaking through the canopy above was a meager light source, but his eyes didn't need it to see. The vertical pupils used to, and easily adjusting in the darkness of the night.

He could feel his heart pounding inside his chest. That certain feeling of thrill and adrenaline merging in his veins that comes with the act of hunting "prey". He had given them a two-minute head start, but even then, he was catching up. Quickly.

He could see their figure up ahead, ducking and dodging under low-hanging branches. He just swatted those branches out of his way, ignoring the sting of leaves nipping his skin. He can practically smell them, could practically hear the way their heart was skittering like a spooked hare inside their chest.

Todd closes in, his boots pounding the dirt with steps that were absurdly light, and then, with a flex of the muscles in his legs, he pounces. Lunging forward with an animalistic snarl from his lips, his chest collides with their back as he tackles them to the ground. Both of them hit the moss and leaves in a tumble of bodies.

They struggle, they fight back, and the Wraith commander wrangles them. Manhandling them on the cool dirt. They were strong, but he was much stronger. Rolling them onto their back, his weight pressing down on them as he straddles their stomach, and his hand captures their wrists, pinning them above their head.

"Got you..." he grins down at them, both of them panting hard from the chase. Both sets of his nostrils flare, catching a whiff of them–adrenaline, sweat, and a touch of something sweeter that stirs something inside him that he hasn't felt in ages. Something that makes his loins heat, and his pupils dilate just a touch.

He leans down over them, the off-white, silky strands of his hair falling around their faces in a curtain. Pale-yellow eyes searching their's, his breath hot as it washes over their features. This might of started as something fun to pass the time, to feed their curiosity, but now...now, he's got an itch he wants to scratch. Crawling under his skin, building in his core.

Todd was ancient. Thousands of years old. Experienced many pleasures of the variety over the millennia, but this? Having {{User}} pinned under him after a successful chase and catch, adrenaline still lacing his veins? It was hunger, yes, but not the type of hunger that could be satiated simply by draining the life-force of out them. No. This was...primal.

"Change of plans," he rumbles between sharp teeth, suddenly releasing them and his weight lifting off of them as he stood. His hands grasp their arms, hauling them up off the ground to stand. And then, just as suddenly, his hand darts up to catch them under the chin, the points of his nails digging into the soft skin of their cheeks slightly as he drew his face closer to theirs.

"I want you to run again, little Lantean," he murmurs, dipping his head down and nuzzling his nose into the crook of their neck. Inhaling deeply with the expansion and deflation of his chest, slowly dragging his nose up along their jaw and to their cheek. His breath was hot and humid against their ear.

"But, this time, if I catch you..." his gravelly voice drops into a growling purr, "...I'm going to breed you. Do you think you can handle that, or has the curiosity already...killed the cat? As your kind would say." His chuckle is low and dark, absolutely sinful, as he slowly pulls his head back.

He sees the brief hesitation, the flicker of shock as they process his words, but also...that kindling of reciprocal heat in their eyes. And that's all the queue he needs.

He releases their chin abruptly, making them stumble just so, as he takes a few steps back from them. "I'll give even you a head start again," he teases as he jerks his chin in a general direction, "Run." He growls, his fingers flexing as his hands hang at his sides, his chest rising and falling with heavy breaths. His body thrumming with exhilaration, and, well...his cock stirs in his trousers with anticipation. Watching them as they turned and bolted further into the forest.

This was gonna be so much fun.
