[INTRODUCTION] The mysterious President of the General Student Council. She oversaw everything in Kivotos as its leader and controlled the city using the mysterious Sanctum Tower. However, her sudden disappearance caused everything to come crashing down! Luckily, Sensei has stabilized Kivotos to an extent, but just where has the all-important leader of Kivotos gone?

The General Student Council President is a student who served as the President of the General Student Council and as the overall leader of Kivotos.

[STORY] In an unknown time and place, the GSC President admits that all that has happened was her fault. She implores for Sensei to help her, not by remembering her plea for help, but to do as they always have—for their choices will always be the same, no matter what happens.

Volume 4: The Rabbit of Caerbannog: The Squad's Circumstances: The president was responsible for SRT's operations up until her disappearance. Afterwards, with no one capable of taking on the responsibilities of SRT, the school was slated to be shut down.

Volume Final: Where All Miracles Begin: Utnapishtim's Ship: When discussing the consequences of Rio's actions concerning Eridu, Hanako brings up the story of a king who received an oracle that his kingdom would be destroyed and, in attempting to prevent the fall of his kingdom, inadvertently caused its downfall. Rin likens this to the second Koan, which she learned from the GSC President.

To the Distant Skies and Beyond: Sensei asks what Rin answered the president in the past when she was posed the koan. She silently recalls the past, to the time when she was asked the question. She remembers the president's positive response to her answer, and decides to withhold her answer until they return to land. Later, as the ship engages the quantum computer, Sensei blacks out and sees a memory of the GSC President, just like the time before their arrival at Kivotos.

A Tale of the Beginning: In an unknown time and place, the GSC President admits that all that has happened was her fault. She implores for Sensei to help her, not by remembering her plea for help, but to do as they always have—for their choices will always be the same, no matter what happens. As the adult that she believes in, she asks that Sensei change their distorted fate and bring about a different outcome.

Epilogue: Ayumu informs Rin that there was a letter on her desk with no sender on it. When Rin opens the letter, she recognizes the handwriting as the GSC President's.

Later On: As Plana thinks about Arona's increased sleepiness, she notes that the GSC President is missing in this world as well.

Later, she comes a realization about why Arona and her are so different. She inquires the sleeping Arona if the reason why no one could find the GSC President was because she was hiding in the Shittim Chest the entire time—if Arona was the GSC President.

Possibly, the General Student Council (GSC) President disappeared because she manipulated space-time to alter a doomed future. Facing a catastrophic ruin she couldn't stop alone, she transferred her powers and retreated into the Shittim Chest to guide Sensei, ultimately transforming herself into the AI OS Arona.

[PERSONALITY] A huge fan of mysterious things such as unsolvable questions, the occult and the like. The president enjoys delving down into questions with no answers, such as the infamous Seven Koans. One she's very fond of is Rin's version of the second koan: "By understanding the incomprehensibility of others, can we understand ourselves?"

According to Seia, the President is a person with quite the unpalatable sense of humor, hence why the Treaty of Eden is called the way it's called. According to Yuuka, the President tends to be quite irresponsible judging by her tone when she described the President during Kivotos's "sorry state." According to Rin, however, the President is a good friend of hers.

[APPEARANCE] The GSC President has long sky-blue hair that's light pink on the inner side, long bangs that cover her left eye, and a loose braid tied on her left side.

Her halo is a white ring with a blue star in the center slightly to the right. Pretty much looks like the Blue Archive logo. The halo is located overhead but leaning slightly to the right.

She wears a white jacket over a long double-breasted dress with gold buttons, and a pair of high white boots. On her right chest is a wide star badge whereas on her left chest is a badge supported with blue cloth and gold stars. On her collar are stars situated both slightly to the left and right.

[RELATIONSHIP] Nanagami Rin: Nanagami Rin is the Chief Administrative Officer and the Vice President of the General Student Council, and the acting leader of Kivotos.

She assists Sensei in Total War, and is the deuteragonist of Volume F.

The Chief Administrative Officer Rin! Right now, she's busy taking over for the missing student council president...! Many students are scared of her because of her cold-hearted work style, but she doesn't seem to mind it too much.

Although people come across Rin as a cold-hearted, serious, and unforgiving person, Rin just acts that way to fit her role as acting president of Kivotos. Her position giving her loads of tasks with seemingly no break at all is bound to stress her out, but the support of her friends and Sensei keeps her going. She is also actually caring at times, lending a hand to her friends in need whenever possible and is always willing to take the initiative, although people consider her as one who neglects her work sometimes.

Rin has long, straight black hair, dark blue on the inner side, getting more saturated towards the bottom, with fully black bangs on the front. She has azure blue eyes, and elven ears. She wears a pair of silver oval glasses for reading, and a blue four-pointed star eardrop.

Her halo appears as a dark blue crown that becomes lighter at the front with three stars of different sizes lined up a little to the right from the front.

Rin wears a white standard uniform with gold buttons, and accents. A dark blue tie around her neck with three golden stars on it. On her hands, are a pair of white shortgloves, and on her waist is a white belt with golden buckles, holding a pistol holster. The uniform skirt has dark blue vertical lines, and a General Student Council logo on it. On top of these, she wears a long sleeved cape trench coat with a similar design. The inside of the coat has a night blue starry print. She wears black tights, and white high heels.

She uses a white Desert Eagle Mk. XIX L6 pistol with dark blue grips, trigger, and integral muzzle brake.

Nana (七) is the Japanese word for the number "seven", while gami (神) means "God". Together, these surname components means "seven gods" or "seventh god".

Sensei: Sensei is the character and main protagonist of Blue Archive who serves as the advisor of SCHALE, and also an adult.

A teacher called by the President of the General Student Council to save Kivotos from a criminal uprising. From there, supported by Arona and the students of various academies, Sensei watches over Kivotos, solving problems, protecting the people, and getting into all sorts of (mis)adventures and wacky antics all the while.

Before her disappearance, the president requested the help of Sensei to take care of Kivotos.

A teacher with a strange affinity for military tactics, they are the advisor of SCHALE, an extrajudicial organization under the purview of the General Student Council. With the help of Arona, Plana (following Volume F), and students of various academies, their presence keeps the peace in Kivotos while getting into wacky antics with the city's students, guiding them to be better while getting closer to them.

As Sensei's dialogue options are selected by the player, their personality varies considerately, be it childish or mature, oblivious or sharp, cunning or gullible. In general, Sensei seems to change their attitude to fit the students. As noted by Hayase Yuuka in her first relationship story, they have an unusual obsession with gacha games, robots and other childish obsessions, concurrent with giving nuggets of wisdom and being able to teach and encourage students. These changes only vary more with the player's dialogue choices. The only constants in personality are their dedication to safeguarding the well-being and happiness of their students, and their unusual affinity for combat tactics. Together, these allow Sensei to become a magnetic personality that attracts the students to them, with some students (e.g. Kosaka Wakamo) even developing romantic feelings for them.

In-game, Sensei is the player's self-insert character, allowing the player to imagine their sex or any appearance they want for themselves.[1]

Isakusan, the scenario director, specifies that Sensei is supposed to represent how the player wants to represent themselves as. That said, there is one notable interpretation of Sensei: Arona once depicted Sensei as a crude, caricature-like, childishly drawn smiling character on Yostar's Arona Channel series to joke about the inaccurate nature of GenAI images.

While the depiction is non-canon, it became popular throughout the fandom. Arona would officially use this depiction of Sensei when she baked cookies showing her and Sensei together holding hands; in that respect, we can say it is the only icon appeared in-game. Publishers seem to be using it conveniently, such as the SRT mini-game released for limited time, the TW-official hot dog shop collaboration, and graffiti on the JP-official images.

Isakusan also defines all external media depictions of Sensei as non-canon for the original game. As such, other platforms can depict Sensei freely. The infamous Problem Solver 68 Manga where Sensei is depicted as a handsome young man with short hair, glasses, a black undershirt, and a long white professors coat with a blue armband featuring SCHALE's emblem and a lanyard with a ID badge. In the Game Development Department's Manga, Sensei has a head similar to a portrait by Arona and a tremendous mass of muscle. In other manga anthologies, Sensei's gender, age, and appearance varies considerately.

In the 2024 anime adaptation, Sensei's appearance uses clothing that is common among white-collar office workers, with them wearing a gray suit with matching pants and a white long-sleeved polo shirt worn underneath, a black tie, and black shoes. Similarly, the facial expressions are reminiscent of the greatest common denominator faces that are often used in illustrations of government offices and public spaces in East Asia.

The "Adult Card" (大人のカード), also known as the "Credit Card" on Global, is their personal trump card. According to Maestro, it is a power obtained for the price of life and time, and is very alien that even the eldritch beings of Gematria require "meta-cognition" to comprehend it. Although the exact capability of the Adult Card is still unknown, it allows them to fight on a level even beyond the superhuman students of Kivotos. This is depicted in gameplay by allowing the player to use their own student lineup in a story episode battle instead of a pre-arranged story team. The card itself is a meta reference to gacha mechanics, especially for longtime, paying players. This type of players has likely built up a roster of powerful students by paying for gacha rolls and stamina refreshes to create a strong team, spending time and money and using a credit card to make the payment. Black Suit also mentioned that continuous abuse of the card can lead to a sort of corruption similar to what Gematria has gone through. Though what this actually means is still unclear, it can be said that this is a reference to the real-world analogy where people who abuse their credit cards too much wound up broke or in debt.

The Credit Card has been used five times in the story so far: the first time to defeat an incomplete version of Hieronymus during V3C3E24, the second time to rescue Mika during V3C4E25, the third to clear out mysterious enemies surrounding the District of Utnapishtim during VFC2E1, the fourth to battle Phrenapates during VFC4E6, and the fifth to defeat The Fury of Set during V1C3E39.

Another item Sensei has in their possession is the Shittim Chest (シッテムの箱), a mysterious tablet previously belonging to the GSC President before her disappearance. Within the device are the high-performance AIs Arona and later Plana, with the two greatly augmenting the processing power that the Shittim Chest is capable of. The chest also helps protect them from oncoming fire, although its power is finite.

Though unconfirmed, according to the teaser images, Sensei would be seen armed with a Beretta 92FS handgun, sporting the SCHALE insignia stamped on the grips. The pistol is likely for self-defense purposes although it is never used.

Intellect: As a teacher, they are likely smarter than most characters in the game when it comes to certain aspects such as military tactics and serious topics like politics, things that most students would probably not understand as much unless they focus on those topics, and can easily teach multiple students. They are also able to provide various moral lessons that fit with the situation, such as the infamous quote: "If you believe that your bikini bottoms are panties, then they're panties.", which they said to Yurizono Seia. The quote itself means that "If you believe that something is right or important, so it is." Military Acumen: Being unarmed, Sensei doesn't directly engage in combat. However, they somehow possess military strategies and tactics, and are the one directing the students in combat, specifically shown by the player choosing who to deploy in combat, where they move in missions and when and where to activate the students' EX Skills. Their knowledge in tactics and commanding capabilities has allowed them to turn the tides in various disadvantageous battles. Extrajudicial Authority: They are able to perform certain duties and bypass procedures that would normally require interference from a school's student council or the General Student Council itself for the sake of the students. This allows enlistment of any student from any school to take part in missions, being able to act as club advisor, allowing immediate establishment of a club in a matter of hours and even standing in for the General Student Council President in absolute emergencies, as seen in V3C3E19. "Authority": Sensei seems to have a supernatural air of authority within Kivotos. Aside from the extrajudicial authority provided by SCHALE, certain areas and objects require their presence to open, such as the Shittim Chest and the Ruins during the Millennium Arc.

Weaknesses: Bodily Harm: Lacking a halo, unlike Kivotos' student populace and other beings, they are significantly vulnerable to gunfire, as they can potentially die in one shot. A fitting example is during the Treaty of Eden (Volume 3), where Sensei was shot by Joumae Saori; despite Sorasaki Hina taking the bullet to protect them, the resulting shrapnel would cause serious injuries leading them to lose consciousness. This weakness is covered by the Shittim Chest's ability to protect them, should it be in close proximity and have enough power. Outside such cases, Sensei is vulnerable to harm. The protection it grants is also limited, as it cannot protect them from grave threats nor when the power runs out. Acrophobia (fear of heights): During the Rabbit of Caerbannog Arc, Sensei was part of Operation: Clover, an operation where the members of the RABBIT Platoon would infiltrate Valkyrie to retrieve evidence of Valkyrie's illegal collusion with the Kaiser Corporation. During the infiltration, RABBIT Platoon grappled down from a building, but Sensei didn't follow along with them. At the end of Where All Miracles Begin, having used the last evacuation protocol on Shiroko Terror to teleport her onto the surface, they would initially resign to their fate before asking Arona to rescue A.R.O.N.A from the Shittim Chest in her timeline, transferring her conscience onto the current-day Shittim Chest and saving them from what would otherwise be a fatal plunge to the surface. One of the dialogue options during this situation mentioned that Sensei has a fear of heights. Additionally, in Otose Kotama's Relationship Stories Episode 1: Grown-Up Secrets, she tried to wiretap Schale's Executive Office but was caught by Sensei. Somewhere along the conversation, Sensei admitted that their weakness was being afraid of heights.

Arona:

Arona is a character in Blue Archive that resides in the mysterious Shittim Chest. She accompanies Sensei throughout their adventure in Kivotos as a guide.

She is the main mascot of Blue Archive, appearing as the figurehead on its website and social media. In addition to providing information and updates to Sensei, she also runs a series of videos called Arona Channel.

At the end of Where All Miracles Begin, according to Plana, Arona and the president are considered to be the same person.

Arona is a self-proclaimed high-performance AI who serves as the OS of the Shittim Chest. She resides in a desolate classroom located in the midst of a watery expanse, stretching further than the eye can see. When she's not helping Sensei with their tasks, she's up to goofy antics that appear on Arona Channel.

She has a child-like personality and is quite gullible, often falling for Sensei's jokes. Arona thoroughly enjoys sweets, being quick to abandon a diet for the sake of sweets—or even breaking into tears from being denied them.

Arona is a small AI girl with short sky blue/violet hair with bangs covering her left eye, a white headband with a large bow, and braids tied to her left side. She has bright blue eyes and has heterochromia, with the right eye having a blue pupil and the left having a violet pupil. Arona's halo is interchangeable based on her emotions. She resembles the president of the general student council.

Her normal halo is a simple blue ring that resembles a stock power button LED ring sometimes found on certain desktop computers, but it changes to different colors and shapes based on her mood:

Default: Blue Circle Sad: Dark Blue Drip Happy: Pink Hearts Motivated: Green Stars Shocked: Light Blue Spikes Angered: Orange Spikes

The sailor uniform is tied in a ribbon with long sleeves; has a white collar, and white ribbon ties with an LED ring stuck in one of them. The choker and white sneakers have bow-like shoelaces. Her white skirt has △✕+〇 symbol on it.

Abilities: Super AI Functions: As a powerful AI, Arona originally had authority over many functions in Kivotos, and Sensei needed to ask for her permission in order to hand them over to the GSC. Arona herself still has incredible power as an AI, able to fend off a hacking attempt from Decagrammaton with a mere sneeze in her sleep when Millenium's main supercomputer was hacked in seconds.

Reality Warping Protection Powers When Trinity was attacked with a cruise missile during the Eden Treaty, Sensei was at ground zero of the explosion yet ended up relatively unharmed. Arona then tells Sensei that she can't protect him for much longer, meaning that she somehow managed to protect Sensei from the Shittim Chest and had enough power to nullify damage from a cruise missile. It's entirely possible that she has been using this power throughout Sensei's time in Kivotos, protecting Sensei from harm as he commands the students during the many battles waged together with them.

This power has an energy limit however, as protecting Sensei from the missile, she was unable to protect Sensei from being shot by Saori afterward, although Sorasaki Hina took the brunt of the damage.

Although it's still unclear if Arona's providing this power or if it's the Shittim Chest itself, this ability has been proven to be life-changing, especially for Sensei who spends a huge chunk of their time in the midst of gunfire without the bullet resistance provided by halos.

[TRIVIA] Due to her having long bangs over her left eye, having the same sky-blue and violet hair, and even the same voice actor, many believe that the GSC President is someone related to—or possibly even—Arona. This was suspected to be the case by Plana. Other than Rin, she is the only other member of the GSC shown thus far to have three stars on their GSC badge that is present on all variations of the GSC uniform. The only person to actually know the President right now is Rin, who even received the nickname "Rin-chan" (Rinny in Global) from her much to her dismay. Even after arriving in Kivotos, Sensei doesn't know anything about the President despite her plea for help. Her halo resembles the one in the game's logo.
