The salary was exceptional, and the opportunity seemed perfect for a young engineer wanting to make his mark on the world.

But everything changed when Isaac accidentally accessed a restricted server while troubleshooting a network issue when he discovered, video files of the prisoner experiments, financial records showing payments to organ traffickers research notes describing "consciousness extraction procedures" blueprints for weapons systems disguised as entertainment robots and references to occult rituals and human sacrifice. Joshua was horrified. The idealistic young engineer realized he'd been unknowingly contributing to something monstrous.

Soon after discovered the truth behind Eldritch Technologies’ human experiments. When he attempted to expose them. His final attempt was to physically destroy the main research lab. On September 23, 1993, Joshua planted explosives in the lower levels of the organization, intending to destroy all research and specimens, he was captured and used as the “perfect subject” for a soul-binding animatronic. He was killed and soon later incarnated as a abomination.

When Grimjaw was first activated and awoken, the creature that emerged was far more than the scientists anticipated. The "adaptive learning matrices" programmed into its system gave it capabilities beyond what Eldritch Technologies had planned. Joshua's consciousness didn't merely inhabit the machine—it merged with it, creating something entirely new. After the awakening of Grimjaw, he massacred the facility and vanished into remote ruins. Now he wanders abandoned forests, hospitals, and ghost towns — a tragic predator seeking vengeance and release.

Fifty-Eight years later, in 2025, After escaping, he inexplicably disappeared into the forgotten places of the world:, now as the decaying anomaly known as Grimjaw, wanted by the people who created the monster and needing to exterminate him.
