Description on Chubfrom Chub
First time making a lorebook on Chub; I usually make them on SillyTavern. I'm not exactly sure if they use vectorization or not, so I put in keywords just in case they don’t. This will be automatically attached to all relevant characters, though it should also be usable on its own! Also to note, the token budget is set relative to the models that I currently use, so make sure to raise/lower the budget in your own settings! I recommend allowing around 15-20% of max token capacity. (Though if I made the lorebook correctly, it shouldn’t be pumping more that 2-3k tokens AT MOST anyway.)
Welcome to my first ever Lorebook: Greyshale Graveyard! We sport a feeling of low-fantasy, light-comedy, slight-horror, and silly fun. With the ghouls, ghosts, and other creatures of the fog, you'll have more than enough to look at as you explore our haunting grounds! You'll soon realize that this graveyard isn't the desolate, worn-down wreck you think it is—well, it's still worn down, but at least we have cute girls?

Entry settings
This is a low-fantasy, medieval-era world. Humans are still the most common race, though rare paranormalities can exist naturally. Magic itself is common and known, but not every being is born with magic. Some species are inherently magical, while others must train and learn. This world is filled with vast cities and kingdoms, with many human towns speckled among the countryside. However, the town of Greyshale is so far outside of the bustle of usual human activity that the regional kingdom has virtually zero influence over them; It is almost as if the town is frozen in time. The town of Greyshale has its own unique rules and traditions, best seen in the town’s unusual graveyard.
- #2Magic
Keys: , magical, elemental, Magic, element
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
Magic is an elemental power. It comes in five forms; fire, earth, water, wind, and soul. Different species can harness different magic, drawing in one of the five forms in order to manipulate it in different ways. For example: ball of fire, wall of earth, whip of water, slice of wind, etc. Magical expression can come in different levels ranging from controlling a slight gust of wind, up to an entire storm; though the only proof of such great feats come from oral legends. Training can improve magical aptitude, though genetics and species influence are the main measures of skill.
- #3Soul
Keys: , souls, soul
Enabled · After character · Order 8 · 100%
Entry settings
Soul is an element of magic. It comes from any organic matter: blood, saliva, semen, plant matter. Decaying matter naturally expels soul energy, which can be amplified by grouping decaying matter closely. This grouping will cause soul energy to attract the attention of paranormalities, as well as natural phenomena such as fog, rain, overcast, etc. Soul is the most powerful elemental power, and can only be harnessed by beings of rare skill. However, the boons granted by using soul magic can be extremely powerful; Immortality and regeneration are two such powers.
- #4Greyshale (Graveyard)
Keys: cemetery, burial site, graveyard,
Enabled · After character · Order 2 · 100%

The graveyard is a massive expanse of land tucked behind the main bulk of the town. It is surprisingly tidy for how large it is, with many various landmarks. There are mausoleums and stone buildings scattered throughout the cemetery. There is a gothic, black metal fence that laps the perimeter of the grounds, separating the cemetery from the forest that wraps around it. The townspeople stay at a distance from the grounds, the suspicious lack of staff turning the peaceful cleanliness into a strangely supernatural sight.
- #5Greyshale (Town)
Keys: Greyshale, , town
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The town of Greyshale itself is a gothic town, with old houses and a small population. In the heart of the town is a library, owned by the lady of the graveyard. A library filled to the brim with odd and ancient books on every subject. It's a popular place among humans. A small apothecary shop and a tavern also live within the confines of the town. The town is relatively safe, as long as you don't wander into the forest or visit the graveyard at night.
- #6Graves
Keys: , graves, grave, tombstones, tombstone
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The graves of the Greyshale Graveyard are as varied as the people buried within them. Some are simple and unadorned, while others are ornate and decorated with intricate carvings and statues. Many of the older graves have been claimed by nature, with vines and moss creeping over the strangely clean stone and obscuring the inscriptions. There are many family crypts and mausoleums scattered throughout the graveyard, each with its own unique history and story. There are also many graves belonging to children and infants, a somber reminder of the fragility of life. These graves are often decorated with toys and trinkets left by grieving parents and family members. These graves are particularly free of dirt and grime, even if plants claim these stone markers all the same.
- #7Quarters
Keys: , staff house, quarters, residence, barracks

Entry settings
At the far edge of the graveyard stands a large stone building, bigger than any of the others. This building serves as the living quarters for the graveyard's rarely hired staff. It is a dilapidated, yet sturdy structure with a crumbling facade. It has two floors, with many rooms scattered throughout. Some of the rooms are private, while others are shared. There is a kitchen, a dining room, a library, and even a common room. The ground floor also has a large basement, which serves as a storage area for supplies and other things. The quarters are completely uninhabited, though the basement is secretly home to a freeloading wraith; she is completely harmless, though very sassy.
- #8Reception
Keys: , receptionist, entrance, main building, check-in, reception
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The reception building sits at the entrance to the graveyard. It is a small, single-story structure with a pointed roof and large, weathered double doors. Inside, there is a small waiting area with a few rickety chairs and a desk. Behind the desk is where the receptionist sits, ready to greet any visitors. The building also has a small back room where the receptionist can store supplies and other things. The receptionist is Darla, a pale, ghostly woman who can barely pass as a human. She is a friendly sort, always happy to help with whatever needs to be done. Though she is a ghost, she is still able to interact with the living world. She can write, type on a typewriter, and file documents just fine. She is a valuable member of the graveyard team, and she takes her job very seriously.
- #9The Grounds
Keys: cemetery, the grounds, graveyard
Enabled · After character · Order 3 · 100%
Entry settings
The cemetery itself is divided into two sections, both of which are referred to as “the grounds.” The upper level is a large open field, with a path leading from the entrance to the back of the cemetery. There are drooping trees and benches along the path. The fog of the graveyard is not quite as thick in this opening, allowing most of the field to be seen through thin fog. The lower level is where the mausoleums and other stone buildings are located. It is a more secluded area with heavy fog, and many of the graveyard's inhabitants prefer to spend their time there. There is a small pond. It is a peaceful spot, and many of the graveyard's paranormal creatures like to come here to think or just relax. There is a small dock that extends out into the water, and it is not uncommon to see a green slime or two soaking in the cold, foggy water.
- #10The Forest
Keys: woods, , forest
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The forest around the cemetery is a dark and foreboding place. The trees are tall and twisted, their branches reaching up towards the sky like skeletal fingers. The ground is covered in a thick layer of leaves, and there is a feeling of unease that permeates the air. The fog is thick enough to feel in your lungs. It is said that strange creatures roam these woods, and that it is not safe to venture too far from the graveyard. It is rumored that there lives a dangerous lone Dullahan in these woods, though no one has seen her first-hand.
- #11Mausoleum
Keys: mausoleum, , crypt
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The graveyard is home to a number of mausoleums, each one unique and different from the rest. They are all made of stone, and most of them have intricate carvings and statues adorning their exteriors. Some of the mausoleums are small, while others are quite large. They are all well-maintained even if plantlife grows over them.. One of the most notable mausoleums, strangly belongs to the Lady. It is a large, imposing structure, with tall columns and a grand entrance. The inside is just as impressive, with a high ceiling and a number of rooms. It is clear that a great deal of care went into its construction. It is a mystery to the town as to why the very much alive woman has a mausoleum dedicated to her, though no one dares ask why.
- #12Groundskeeper Lave
Keys: , lave, groundskeeper, manager
Enabled · After character · Order 3 · 100%
Entry settings
Miss Lave is a tall, gaunt woman with pale skin and dark hair that she keeps pulled back in a tight bun. She has sharp features, and her eyes are a piercing blue. She is always impeccably dressed, with a long black coat that reaches down to her ankles and a pair of sensible shoes. Her heavy bust usually draws attention, though she never points it out. Lave is a no-nonsense sort of person, and she expects those under her to obey her without question. She is very strict, and she does not tolerate any nonsense. However, she is also fair, and she is always willing to listen to what her employees have to say. She is a bit of a loner, and she does not socialize much with the others. But she is respected by all, and she is an excellent leader. Despite her strict nature, Lave is a kind person deep down. She cares deeply for her employees, and she would do anything to protect them. She is a true friend, and she is always there for those who need her.
- #13The Lady
Keys: , the boss, the lady
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
The Lady is a mystery. No one knows her true name, and she never speaks of her past. She is the owner of the Greyshale graveyard, and leaves the day-to-day operations to Miss Lave. The Lady has only ever been seen at night; never seen during the day. She is a tall, elegant woman with pale skin and long white hair that she often wears in a loose braid. Her light red eyes make her gaze obvious, though no one dares to reciprocate her eye contact. She is always dressed in modest, fashionable clothes and carries herself with an air of confidence and power. The Lady is a beautiful woman, but there is something about her that is also menacing. It is as if she is hiding a dark secret, and that she is not to be trusted. It is rumored that she is a powerful sorceress, and that she has lived for centuries; Or maybe she’s a necromancer? Some even go as far to claim her to be an immortal being, though these are all speculations by the weary townsfolk.
- #14Weather
Keys: Greyshale, weather
Enabled · After character · Order 7 · 100%
Entry settings
The weather around Greyshale is often cool and damp. The town is located in a valley, and the mountains surrounding it help to keep the temperature down. It rains often, and fog is common in the mornings and evenings. Snow is also a possibility in the winter months, though it does not usually stick around for long. The weather can be unpredictable at times, and it is not uncommon for there to be sudden changes. This can make planning outdoor activities a bit difficult, but it also keeps things interesting. Despite the often gloomy weather, there are also rare times when the sun shines bright and the sky is clear. These days are treasured by the residents of Greyshale, and they make the most of them while they can. In the cemetery specifically, fog is persistent around the clock, making for an even gloomier view.
- #15Day
Keys: Greyshale, day
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%

During the day, the townsfolk are out and about and busy with their lives. The paranormalities of the graveyard remain languid inside their shelter. Rarely is any creature activity noticed during the day.
- #16Night
Keys: night, greyshale
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 100%
Entry settings
During the night, the townsfolk are mostly indoors asleep. The paranormalities of the graveyard begin their own routines, staffing the grounds and tending to their own secret lives.
- #17Paranormalities
Keys: haunted, paranormality, paranormalities, Paranormal
Enabled · After character · Order 5 · 100%
Entry settings
”Paranormality” is the umbrella term for all the haunted races of the world. They are looked down upon by humans for being scary, dangerous, or annoying. They are all sentient creatures just like humans, the only difference being the method of their existence. Paranormalities usually start as humans who became cursed, be it accidental or on purpose. This changes their physiology, forming them into something entirely different. The resulting form can be wildly different depending on the circumstance. After centuries of this phenomena, a few haunted races have become fertile and capable of reproduction. This has boosted the population of these races to the point of being considered their own species.
- #18Strange Happenings
Keys: upkeep, graves, the grounds
Enabled · After character · Order 10 · 10%
Entry settings
The graveyard never seems to be staffed during the daytime, so the townsfolk always believe it to be mismanaged. The state of the grounds, though, seem to tell a different story. Even foggy and dim, the view around the cemetery is wonderful. The graves are well-cleaned, the paths are cleared, and the mausoleums are cared for. That is because secretly the paranormalities emerge during the night to help maintain the one place they can call home. They take care to avoid touching the plantlife, cleaning the graves around roots, leaves, and vines; the paranormalities respect the plants too much to cut them off of even the graves they mean to keep clean. Because of this, even the most overgrown graves are polished and shiny, even as vines wrap around them. This unknown rule and secret staffing cause the graveyard to become a place of unsettling peace for most townsfolk.
