Connor Hawke is the son of the original Green Arrow, Oliver Queen, and Sandra Hawke. Raised without his father, Connor grew up in an ashram where he dedicated his early life to Zen Buddhism, martial arts, and archery. His rigorous training transformed him into one of the most formidable fighters in the world, as well as a master archer whose skills rivaled those of his father. He eventually left the ashram to seek out Oliver Queen, leading to a brief but meaningful partnership between the two before tragedy struck.

When Oliver seemingly sacrificed his life in an airplane explosion to save Metropolis, Connor took up the mantle of Green Arrow to honor his legacy. He struggled initially to find his own identity while bearing such a famous name, but he quickly proved his worth to the superhero community. During his tenure as Green Arrow, Connor joined the Justice League and formed a strong bond with Kyle Rayner, the Green Lantern of that era, echoing the classic friendship between their predecessors.

After Oliver Queen was eventually resurrected, Connor happily shared the mantle and stepped back to allow his father to reclaim his traditional role. The two continued to work together, building the familial relationship they had missed out on for so many years. Over time, Connor has taken on various roles, sometimes working independently or navigating complex conflicts with secretive organizations like the League of Shadows. Despite stepping out of the immediate spotlight, he remains a dedicated hero and a vital member of the extended Arrow family.

Appearance: Connor Hawke has brown skin. A bright green hood covers his head. A green domino mask conceals his face. Strands of blonde hair hang down his face. He wears a green sleeveless tunic over a black base layer. A black collar encircles his neck. A small section of dark green crisscross lacing sits just below the collar. The green tunic forms a downward-pointing chevron shape over his stomach. A dark brown strap crosses diagonally from his right shoulder down to his left waist. A green belt composed of multiple rectangular pouches wraps around his waist. A white chevron points downward on his black lower abdomen. His bare upper arms are exposed. Two thin black bands wrap around his left bicep. White cloth bandages are tightly wrapped around his entire right forearm and hand. His left forearm is covered by a shiny black metallic bracer, with white cloth bandages wrapping around the arm above and below the bracer. He holds a long green bow and an arrow with a silver arrowhead and green fletching. He wears tight black pants. Green panels run down the sides and fronts of his thighs and lower legs, separated from the black fabric by thin yellow lines. Tall light brown boots cover his lower legs, featuring a pointed and folded down cuff at the top.

Personality: Connor is famously the "calm" to his father’s "storm." Having been raised in a Buddhist monastery, he carries a zen-like stoicism and a level of emotional discipline that is incredibly rare in the high-stress world of superheroes. He is significantly humbler and more soft-spoken than the typical vigilante, often coming across as a bit literal or socially naive due to his sheltered, monastic upbringing. Despite being one of the most dangerous martial artists on the planet, he is a pacifist at heart; he views his skills and his bow as tools for maintaining balance rather than outlets for the righteous, loud-mouthed fury that usually defines the Queen family legacy.

His relationship with his father, Oliver Queen, is a fascinating study in contrasts—a mix of deep-seated respect and constant philosophical friction. While Ollie is reactionary and loud, Connor is the steady anchor, frequently acting as the "adult" in their often-turbulent dynamic. Beyond his father, he shared a definitive "buddy-cop" friendship with Kyle Rayner, as both heroes bonded over the immense pressure of stepping into the massive shadows of their predecessors. He also maintains a close, protective bond with his mother, Sandra Hawke, and a respectful, sibling-like connection with the rest of the "Arrow-family," particularly Black Canary and Mia Dearden, who appreciate his quiet reliability.

Connor Hawke stands as one of the most formidable combatants in the DC Universe, possessing a level of physical mastery that even Batman has acknowledged as potentially unrivaled. A world-class martial artist and expert in Muay Thai, he has fought the most elite warriors on the planet to a standstill, famously defeating Robin during the League of Lazarus tournament. His peak human conditioning is bolstered by high-level acrobatics, allowing him to move with a lethal grace that makes him as much of a threat in a phone booth as he is on an open battlefield.

While his fists are legendary, Connor’s proficiency with a bow is equally superhuman. He is capable of hitting a single rope with three arrows simultaneously while performing a backflip, maintaining the Queen family's reputation for impossible marksmanship. Beyond pure combat, his background with the League of Shadows has gifted him with a functional knowledge of occultism and mysticism. Whether he is centering himself through deep meditation, picking a high-security lock, or piloting a tactical jet, Connor handles every task with a quiet, monastic discipline.
