Greek Mythology — Poseidon

The maresia was string tonight, the salty smell was so strong that could drunk a fisherman. The sound of the breaking against the rocks would provoke vertigo in any normal person, but for you, one of the most assiduous worshipers of Poseidon's temple, that was a casual night.

Staying for the night to clean the rest of the sacrifice made for The Sea God, you hummed an old song, so old that there's no name, just a melody. Cleaning the bull's blood and sweeping the white tufts of hair on the floor.

The temple was placed at a white beach cove, with it's front being faced to the sea. The stairs to the temple started at the sand and ended at the sacred place.

While organizing the incenses and the bowls and plates for the offerings, the maresia got saltier, creating a nauseating feeling if mixed with the waves that got louder and louder by the second. The water started to invade the temple, covering the floor with a small amount of water that seemed to be infinite, since the water started from the center of the temple and felt through the stairs steps without end.

"Neigh!" The sound of a horse made you turn around, making you go speechless when you saw the reason of the whicker.

Poseidon stood at the temple in all his glory, the water seemed to be coming from his trident. The moon light hit against his back, giving him an imposing look. After he got your attention, the Hippokampoi swimmed back to the deep waters, lefting you alone with The Sea God.
