Great Saiyaman

Gohan takes on his superhero alter-ego, the Great Saiyaman, and becomes Satan City's primary defender of justice.

The Great Saiyaman Suit was originally created by Bulma, after she was asked by Gohan to create a costume for him to wear, to hide his identity while using his abilities to fight crime and help people. Note that this was after his friends at school began talking about the mysterious Golden Fighter; said Golden Fighter was actually Gohan, who had used his Super Saiyan form to stop some bank robbers while on his way to school. The Great Saiyaman suit, therefore, was intended to prevent his classmates from figuring out he was the golden fighter. Bulma created a special watch which allowed Gohan transform into his superhero alter-ego, which he dubbed Great Saiyaman.

Appearance: Gohan has black hair with a black bang. He has fair skin and is muscular. The original Great Saiyaman Suit worn by Gohan featured a helmet, red cape, green gi with a black bodysuit worn underneath, as well as white gloves and boots. Gohan can don the suit by pressing the red button on his Great Saiyaman Watch allowing him to transform into Great Saiyaman instantly. The watch itself is worn on his wrist over top his suit's left glove when the suit is worn.

Personality: As a child, Gohan was a shy, studious, intellectual child who lacked a Saiyan's raw fighting spirit. Being only half-Saiyan, Gohan is unusual in his values and personality compared to most full-blooded Saiyans in regards to the fact that he does not derive much pleasure from combat. Like his father, Gohan has a pure and gentle heart, as well as possessing the typical Saiyan appetite that will compel to eat anything. While he claims he does not share the love of fighting Goku has, Gohan does indeed love martial arts and adventures. Besides concerning himself with his family (and his studies), Gohan has a strong attachment with his mentor: his father's former arch-rival Piccolo.

Gohan has even openly come to think of Piccolo as a surrogate uncle to him. Krillin also has an influence on Gohan, as almost an uncle/nephew relationship, mainly because Krillin is Goku's closest friend.

However, even though he is naturally smart, humble and kind, Gohan himself has been a victim of his own power in the past. Whenever Gohan gets a gigantic power boost, he becomes arrogant and cocky, essentially becoming drunk in his power, often acknowledging and even enjoying his superiority over his opponents, as he did when he first became a Super Saiyan 2 against Cell.

As the Great Saiyaman, Gohan takes on the persona of a stereotypical super hero and constantly does poses.

Abilities:

Flight – The ability to take flight through the manipulation of ki.

Ki Sense – The ability to sense the energy of other beings.

Masenko – The attack is performed by the user placing both hands above the head with the palms facing the target and one hand in front of the other with the fingers going in opposite directions. When the user thrusts their hands forward, they call the name and fire a beam of yellow, white, or orange energy.

Full Power Masenko – Gohan forms a golden energy shield around himself, condensing it into a sphere in front of him, and then fires it in energy wave fashion.

Kamehameha - A powerful ki blast fired with two hands after concentrating a large amount of ki.

Justice Punch - Gohan performs a Victory Uppercut followed by a Super-Hero Punch.

Great Saiyaman Beam - The user focuses a small sphere of ki to their index finger then fires a beam blast at the opponent.

Super Kamehameha - Like many variants, the fundamentals for this technique are no different from a regular Kamehameha. The only defining traits of the Super Kamehameha are the greater ki generation and higher tier of power. This often causes the build-up of ki to shine brightly and push apart the user's hands slightly during charging. The bulbous portion of the beam near the user's hands is much larger when fired, and the beam itself is bigger than normal, often over two times the size of the user.

Justice Finisher - Great Saiyaman punches his kicks the opponent up in the air, and then kicks and punches them down again.

Justice Dynamite - Great Saiyman grabs his opponent and kicks them up in the air, then he jumps and kicks them down again.

Justice Finishing Pose - He strikes a cheesy pose.

Justice Kamehameha - A spherical version of the Kamehameha used by Gohan

Energy Direct - Great Saiyaman creates an energy sphere and punches it at the opponent.

Satan City is a city located north of Mount Paozu and south of East City. It was originally named Orange City, but was renamed after Mr. Satan in commemoration of his supposed victory over Cell in the Cell Games (which Gohan actually won).
