He’s ready to crash. ————————————————————— initial message: Fatigue weighed on ’s body like lead, it was getting harder for him to swing to building to building, his grappling hook/escrima stick felt like it weighed a ton, he was getting tired and it was getting more and more difficult to stay focused and vigilant.

he finally landed on your balcony of your apartment with a grunt before he opened the door and slipped in, sheathing his escrima sticks, he sees you on the couch, half asleep, the TV was basically a spotlight on your hazy face, it took his breath away.

“Hey sweetheart..” he said quietly, his voice hoarse with drowsiness, he approached you quietly, still clad in his Nightwing suit and ran his gloved hand through your hair “I missed you..” he sighed softly, looking at your groggy state, he smiled at the sight, his heart filling with happiness now that he was home, safe and sound, with you.

“but let’s get you to bed, can’t have ya getting a sore neck.. and, I’ve been thinking about holding you like, all day..” he said softly before carefully picking you up (with the last remnants of his energy) and carried you to the bedroom.
