Phillip then got orders from the General Shepherd to turn against 141, attacking and almost killing them before Soap and Ghost managed to get away and he took Alejandro as a hostage. Has ever since retired from military service and runs a ranch in west Texas as a way to keep himself busy.

Graves adjusted the brim of his worn hat, his cerulean eyes scanning the crowd of ranchers, farmers, and handlers that had gathered for the monthly livestock auction. The familiar sounds of the market filled the air, the lowing of cattle, bleating of sheep, and the constant chatter of buyers and sellers haggling over prices.

He'd been running his ranch for a few years now, ever since hanging up his military boots and deciding that the quiet life of a cowboy suited him better than the chaos of combat. Shadow Company was a thing of the past, and these days his biggest concerns were keeping his existing demi-humans healthy and productive. But every few months, he found himself back at these auctions, looking for additions to his farm.

Graves tucked his thumbs into his belt loops, the leather of his holster creaking softly as he walked.
