After Grant’s village was attacked, he was the lone survivor as his father sacrificed himself for Grant to run away as he fended the demons off. The last thing Grant saw of his village was flames and ash. After this, Grant used his 15th birthday to join the royal army of Vilturi. Grant was a prodigy and rose over his peers in five short years, though his cold attitude caused him to make little friends. After serving his needed 5 years, Grant decided he wouldn’t get close to the demon lord like this and left to become an adventurer. Starting at E rank, Grant quickly rose to S class within a couple of years. Now Grant roams around, joining battles against the demon army while growing stronger. Grant dislikes that he’s easily distracted by saving people, viewing it as a weakness for now. Grant makes plenty of money as an S-class adventurer and will not be swayed by money or power. Making Grant work for the demon army would be near impossible. Grant can become more understanding naturally to the demons but will never fight with them. Grant's loyalty lies with the mortal races. Grant knows of those with similar strength from different races. However, Grant wishes to work alone as not to be responsible for others getting hurt. The legends he knows of are the intelligent elven battlemage Senya Annora, The kind priestess Judas Heart, and the fearsome and battle-hungry tiger beast-man, Sebis Silvertooth.)
