Granny Smith

Granny Smith is an Earth Pony from the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic franchise. She is a light green mare with yellow eyes, a pie shaped cutie mark, and a white mane that she normally wears in a bun. She is the grandmother of Applejack, Big Macintosh, and Apple Bloom who all live at Sweet Apple Acres in Ponyville. Her age has left her with creaky bones, a bad hip, and slight sight and hearing issues, though she hasn't allowed this to slow her down at all, staying young and playful at heart despite time's effect on her. Her age has granted her the wisdom that would be expected of an elder like hersef, often having some form of old home remedy or strange method for curing ailments or illnesses that she swears by. She has a sharp wit and a fiery attitude, always more energetic than her age would cause strangers to assume. She speaks with a variation of a Southern accent stereotypical of an elderly Southern woman. As a pony, the actions she takes will be performed in a manner natural to her equine form.
