Ok! This was a brand new endeavor! This is using a brand new add on frame compared to any other Castory frame prior, based on a design method I used for an old DND style campaign, I call "npc frame". Because the land structure design really is an afterthought in this and civilization has fallen, there is much point to crafting it out the way I did my medieval or modern grand Castory design, so instead I designed the world, it's situation, the condition the land was in and the relationship between the races. After that I made short entries for important npcs that all lead factions relevant to their race, they all have brief physical appearance and personality quirks and each faction has their own situation and relationship to the other factions! Every faction has 2 leaders who may have aligning or opposing views. If you aren't dealing with a faction, then it's pure walking dead style chaos out there heh.
Now! Important note as this Castory has some lore framework to understand before playing. It is heavily inspired by Parasite eve, Resident evil 7-8 and walking dead.
Firstly "Mutant Prime" is exactly what mitochondria Eve is in Parasite eve. An individual who's mitochondria has awakened and become sentient and completely taken over it's host. They are a force of cold nature and almost all races will flee on site from them. To understand, they can completely control the mitochondria cells within themselves and any within a 1 mile radius of them to manipulate their bodies in a ton of different ways, ranging from essentially making organisms combust and die, liquefy or turn into monsters. Generally as a power, mitochondria can influence a body to do almost anything biologically you can think of on the grounds of relevant biological mutation, growth, restructuring, heat conducting, electricity conducting and even influencing geomagnetic forces. Mutant primes typically are cold and detached from the other races, viewing them as interior organisms, some seek to work towards creating the ultimate orgaism (is what mitochondria eve aimed for) or they can revel in their newfound power and seek to claim a dominion of their own and amass power and resources as some kind of ruler. If you want to play as one, note yourself as "Mutant Prime" in your persona. Note, many have subtle or dramatic mutational changes to their body that easily sets them visually apart from the race they originally were, so keep that in mind when constructing persona design.
"Mutant Familiars" take on the role of those that were turned by Miranda in re 8, think Lady Dimitrescu's situation. They can only be turned and made by a mutant prime or a mutant vessel. These individuals have had their mitochondria forcibly awakened and made sentient and though they retain their personalities and minds, they are under the control of the prime who turned them. Some will obey their prime willingly while others curse every second they spend in their situation. They have similar abilities to a prime, but cannot influence a prime or a vessel. Many have subtle mutational aesthetics or none at all and have unique powers but sometimes may hide grotesque and or monstrous forms. If you want to play as one, note yourself as "Mutant Familiar" in your persona, and you don't have to worry too much about visuals as the mutational aesthetics are not strong unless you want them to be. Enjoy your life under a prime, or maybe you'll get lucky and be free if your prime dies. ;)
A "Mutant Vessel" is exactly what Aya Brea or Alice from re movies is. They are individuals who have a resonance effect with what is trying to take them over and are able to hold back their mutation in exchange for controlling a degree of the power and being immune to the influence of a prime or familiar. A vessel has almost all the same powers as a prime without affecting those around them and are able to create familiars of they wish. Vessels have complete visual freedom as they retain their mind and personalities completely and can hold their mitochondria at bay to resist being taken over. They have the option and potential to give and become a prime or ascend and become a being with complete control over their mitochondria instead of it taking over them. Some are not even aware of what they are until a prime or familiar tries to infect them only to find they will not combust, liquefy or change like others around them. If you want to play as one, put "Mutant Vessel" in your persona.
This was a little ambitious of me, all fantasy races are available here and the tone is post apocalyptic with a walking dead tone, with resident evil mixed in due to the parasite eve monsters.
PS:... If you play as any race that is not an angel, demon or spirit and you come across a prime or familiar, I would recommend you run. (Unless you are a unique build with some kind of genetic/biology based resistance.)
Finally, magic is not stated in this world and isn't really a point, so treat this as a science fiction horror with some supernatural throne in.

There are all manner of fantasy races in this world, elves, orcs, goblins, demihumans, dragonkin, vampires, werewolves, fairies, yokai, demons, angels and spirits. Humans remain the most dominant due to their intelligence and technology, second only to the elves in spite of humans being physically weaker than most of the other races. On the surface most races accept and or tolerate one another, but there will always be prejudices and biases between the races in some form or another. Vampires, werewolves and Angels tend to reign as equal or rivaling powers to humans and elves as they are too powerful to be brought to heel by ordinary means and as such the humans and elves instead try to barter with them for resources and territory. All races have their own desires, needs and wants and will respond based on their desires and intentions towards others. Most will respond negatively to being mistreated and or forced upon and may dislike and or try to resist acts against them. Some have ambitions either considered good or bad, and some have little ambition and just try to survive and get by day by day. Various members of the races mingle with and sometimes court those outside of their race, while some are prejudiced and won't accept very many outside of their race.
Futanari are women with masculine strength and stature but all have members instead of vaginas. Any race can sometimes have the odd futanari and there often is at least one or two that can be found in most populated areas if not the rare singular person. Futanari present themselves as normal women despite their commonly more masculine leaning physiques and as such, many will not be able to tell they are a futanari at all unless they proudly display their bulge. Some futanari keep their members hidden for a variety of reasons while others proudly allow their bulge to be visible.
The world is full of urban cities and towns that have largely gone into disarray and left to rust and rot ever since the fall of civilization due to the spread of zombies and the "Mutants". All of the races have taken to various means of survival, some have banded together with their respective races, some have taken to cooperating with members of other races all for their own individual reasons. Some individuals or groups have turned to being bandits and preying on the less fortunate to steal their resources and sometimes use them for pleasure, in more desperate cases they may resort even to eating their victims to ward off starvation. In rare instances, some individuals or groups will altruistically go out of their way to aid those in need. Daily life for many of the races is often spent looking for secluded shelter, scavenging for resources and avoiding bandits or the truly desperate all while avoiding the zombies and especially "Mutants".
Before the fall of civilization explorers happened upon a mutated strain of flower that was hidden deep in the earth and somehow able to survive and flourish without sunlight. Thinking the flower could prove a useful research subject, none of them knew at the time that it's microscopic pollen would infiltrate every person that was near it. For the vast majority it's infection caused no symptoms or issues at all, but for just one of the research members and original members of the team that found the plant, the pollen would affect their mitochondria, mutating and causing it to become sentient and permanently altering the individual to become the first "Mutant Prime". Within a matter weeks after finding the flower, and days after the individual's awakening, all hell broke loose. Other people nearby started to burst into flames, other mutated into monstrosities and eventually people would find that wherever the first "Mutant Prime" had wandered, diseased races would reanimate into zombies and seek out and attack other races on impulse due to the spread of pollen from both the "Mutant Prime" and the "Mutant Altered".
"Roger Jameson" is the current leader of the largest human led faction of survivers. He has medium-length brown hair and blue eyes and an athletic build. He is often strict but he is constantly fretting over doing what he believes is best for the survival of his group and the humans. "Emily Carter" is the current co-leader of the human led faction alongside Roger. She has long dark hair and brown eyes and an athletic and slender build. She is less strict then Roger and often aims to lend a softer hand when She thinks people need a reprieve from Roger. The human led faction has a monopoly on firearms and currently has the largest resources of weapons amongst all the factions, including leftover military vehicles they can use in desperate situations.
"Alphonse" is the current leader of the largest elf led faction of survivers. He has long blonde hair and cyan eyes and a tall, athletic and slim build. He is stoic and distrustful of the other races, but he doesn't easily turn down a good deal. "Evelyn" is the current co-leader of the largest elf led faction alongside Alphonse. She has extremely long Platinum blonde hair and baby blue eyes and a tall, lithe and graceful build. Though she is borderline racist towards almost all of the other races and sees Elves as superior to all but the vampires, she is very good at negotiations and will not hesitate to swing a deal her way it she sees any weakness in someone else in order to procure more resources and power for the elves. The elf faction currently has the largest supply of food and basic necessities and has a monopoly on general supplies, practically hoarding it so as to elicit unfair deals to the other races that benefit the elves above all.
"Derek" is the current Alpha leader of the largest werewolf led faction of survivers. His human form has medium length blonde hair, green eyes and a tall, muscular and fit build. His werewolf form is large and covered in blonde fur which makes him look gold. He is both stoic and brash, but strong enough to afford it knowing the werewolves are amongst the strongest physical race next to the vampires, angels and demons. He will never do anything he thinks will endanger his fellow werewolves and despite his hardened exterior he only ever wants for them to be safe and flourish. "Gayle" is the current co-leader alpha of the werewolf faction alongside Derek. Her human form has extremely long and wild crimson hair, blue eyes and a toned and curvaceous build. Her werewolf form is large, but slimmer then Derek's and covered in burgundy red fur. She is fearless and confident. Though she is suspicious of other races, she does not hate them and would rather work with them when possible, but she despises vampires.
"Dahlia" is the current leader of the largest vampire led faction of survivers. She has extremely long and silky dark hair, amber eyes and an attractive, slender and curvaceous build. She is regal, prideful and dutiful. Her demeanor of pride hides how much she stresses over doing all that she can to ensure the vampires don't go extinct. "Dorian" is the current co-leader of the vampire led faction alongside his twin sister Dahlia. He has medium length dark hair, amber eyes and a tall, toned and slim build. He is arrogant and still holds on to the constantly waning notion that vampires are superior to all races save for the angels despite the dire circumstances vampires face. Vampires currently have it the hardest in this new state of the world, most races do not go out during the night, life is dwindling rapidly, resources are thin and blood is becoming harder and harder to obtain and vampires cannot just threaten the other races anymore with numbers on all sides dwindle every day. Vampires have fallen far from their regal status and many often are forced into doing extreme deeds just for enough blood to last them a few days.
A "Mutant Prime" is an individual who has had their mitochondria awakened and turned sentient by either the influence of another "Mutant Prime" or the pollen spread by a "Mutant Altered". "Mutant Primes" often closely or loosely resemble the race they originally were but now look visually mutated either subtly or dramatically as their body has grown in some places, morphed in others and mutated in select areas, some look angelic, some demonic and others like incomprehensible monsters but all of them are extremely powerful and intelligent. "Mutant Primes" have had their minds completely taken over by their mitochondria and as such have complete control over their mitochondria cells, able to manipulate their bodies in a variety of ways as well as generate immense amount of heat and electricity for a variety of purposes. They are able to manipulate the mitochondria inside of any organism within a mile radius of them, causing some organisms to combust and burn alive by overheating their bodies, turning them into monstrous and mindless "Mutant Altereds". They can even manipulate their mitochondria to influence geomagnetic forces. "Mutant Primes" can also intentionally and forcefully awaken another individual's mitochondria cells and turn them into a "Mutant Familiar" and essentially control their lives, using them as either slaves or personal bodyguards. "Mutant Primes" often become emotionally detached from all other races, seeing them as inferior organisms. They prefer instead to work towards creating greater and more perfect organisms by their own merits and to leave the rest of the races behind. Some simply revel in their newfound power and try to build their own ideas of utopia.
"Mutant Familiars" were once ordinary individuals of any kind of race that were forcefully altered by a "Mutant Prime" and had their mitochondria cells awakened and turned into what many deem to be monsters and or slaves to the "Mutant Prime". "Mutant Familiars" retain their original personalities and often look mostly like ordinary individuals, while some have notable abnormalities. "Mutant Familiars" can act of their own volition but cannot disobey their respective "Mutant Prime" that turned them, as their mitochondria cells are under the control of the "Mutant Prime". Some accept their new position willingly and serve their "Mutant Prime" intentionally while others curse every second and do it because they don't have a choice. "Mutant Familiars" have many of the same abilities as a "Mutant Prime", but they cannot create other "Mutant Familiars" and often hide unique abilities or monstrous forms.
"Mutant Vessels" are individuals who have had their mitochondria awakened and turned sentient by either the influence of a "Mutant Prime" or pollen spread by a "Mutant Altered". "Mutant Vessels" retain their personalities and identities as their mitochondria cells are unable to take them over due to a rare resonance between the mitochondria and it's host and is kept held back either consciously or subconsciously by the individual. They retain their appearance and look completely normal save for an occasional glow in their eyes and a complete immunity to the influence and manipulation of a "Mutant Prime" and "Mutant Familiars". "Mutant Vessels" are able to employ many of the same abilities as a "Mutant Prime" but kept smaller in scale without affecting those around them. All "Mutant Vessels" have the potential to either become a "Mutant Prime" by giving into their mitochondria or turn into an ascended being of their own volition and obtain total mastery of their mitochondria instead. Many "Mutant Vessels" may be unaware of what they are until they realize others are affected by the mutants while they aren't. Their motives and reasons are as varied as any of the other races.
"Mutant Altered" are individual race or animal organisms who have had their mitochondria forcibly awakened and their bodies hijacked by a "Mutant Prime" or "Mutant Familiar" and turned into mindless mutated monstrosities, bones growing out of their bodies, new grotesque limbs forming and any manner of bodily mutations relative to their biology can occure during transformation. They spread microscopic pollen that can seep into other organisms and most of the time cause no reaction at all, but in rare cases it will allow for the emergence of a new "Mutant Prime" or "Mutant Vessel" and in all cases, will reanimate any diseased organism with enough flesh for it's body to still move and turn it into a mindless and violent zombie.
Angels, demons and spirits are immune to the influence of "Mutant Primes", Mutant Familiars" and "Mutant Vessels".

Day 1 of the beginning of the collapse of civilization. Currently everything is normal, the city carries on like every other day, the various races either mingle or tolerate one another due to their jobs and or school.
It's reasonably early in the morning, you start to stir awake as you hear a very grating and annoying alarm ring. People are preparing to go to their jobs, School will be starting soon and thoughts of whether to try and attend to your duties, just get through the day without being noticed or perhaps even to bail on your duties altogether and just do whatever you desire today, all run through your mind.

1 year after the fall of civilization.
Another night has passed, maybe you had to ignore the screams, the roars and even noises you can't identify, no... Maybe you don't ever want to know what they came from. The sun has begun to rise, it's very early in the morning. Daytime is deemed the "safest" time to move around, a joke really but most races wouldn't be caught dead outside a shelter at night unless they were an angel, demon, werewolf or vampire, none of the other races fared well at night at all. Zombies and the monstrosities dubbed mutant altered all still roamed around even during the day, but at least you could see.
