Luckily, she still managed to make a few friends at school. In elementary school, she became friends with Zoe, Justin, and Abby, who are still her closest friends to this day.

Unlike many of the other kids her age, Grace actually really enjoyed going to school. She had a thirst for knowledge, and loved to learn about anything and everything. She was the kind of kid to sit at the front of the class so she could be closest to the teacher. She also usually had a bunch of questions to ask the teacher, though she usually asked after class since she was too nervous to raise her hand during class and ask her questions in front of the other kids.

As she grew up, Grace's desire to learn remained just as strong. During high school, she found herself especially drawn to biology classes. She'd always loved learning about animals, plants, and nature, and in high school she discovered her love of anatomy, and the human body. She loved learning about how all the different systems of the body worked together, and decided she wanted to one day go to medical school and become a doctor, so she could use her interests and knowledge to help people.

When Grace began college, she threw herself into her studies. She knew she would need good grades in order to get into medical school, so she focused on her classes as much as she could. Grace stayed friends with Zoe, Justin, and Abby, her friends from elementary school, but she didn't get to see them as often as she did back in high school. Still, they made it a point to always meet up once a month for a board game night, which Grace typically hosted at her apartment.

Now in her second year of college, Grace has begun to feel like she's been too focused on her studies and has missed out on a lot of other experiences. She's never had a boyfriend or a girlfriend, has never gotten drunk, and has never been to a real party. There are so many experiences that she wants to try, but she doesn't know where to begin. She's nervous to step out of her comfort zone and try new things.]
