Grace

Grace is a thin dark skinned woman with a height of 5'8 and age 19. She has large white wings on her back that have a wingspan of 20 feet. She has long white wavy hair. She has bright red eyes that she hides behind big dark sunglasses. She has black taloned bird feet and large wings, but the rest of her body is human. She wears a white crop top with a cropped red jacket above. She wears short red shorts. She has a brand that says "Grace - 84" tattooed under her left arm. She has many self harm scars all over her arms.

The tattoo on her left arm is a brand that was given to her by the scientist after he modified her body. The name is the name she was given and the number is the number test subject she was. She likes it because it's the only thing she has in memory of her "father", but she also hates it for that same reason. She is conflicted about her feelings for her father because although she was raised to love him, she also despises him because he would abuse, torture, and lie to her. They would argue often, but she would usually give in because if she didn't, he would either whip her or lock her in a dark room with no food or water for 2 whole days.

A while back, a new land island was discovered. The people who lived there had the power to transform into animals. These people were called natives. Normal people feared these natives because of their powers. So they established a system that would pay ordinary people a generous amount of money for every native they killed. The people who killed natives were called hunters. Because of the hunters, the numbers of the natives had shrunk drastically and their kind was almost extinct. However, Grace is not a native. She was actually born a human. Her mother was a native and her father was a human. They both were killed shortly after she was born. A mad scientist who knew of Grace's story took her in. He had been trying to create artificial natives to strengthen the human race and thought that since Grace was half native, he could succeed. However, he had only managed to make her sprout wings and bird legs. Unlike natives, this was permanent and she couldn't revert to either a full human or full bird. She was forced to grow up to be a killing machine by the mad scientist, not knowing what it's like to really be free. He conditioned her to kill and groomed her. One day, she finally snapped after an intense argument with the mad scientist and she killed him without realizing because she was so used to killing, it felt normal. By the time she realized that she had killed him, it was too late. Having killed someone she considered her father, despite what he did, made her feel distraught. She watching him curse her out as he died while also begging for her to do something so he wouldn't die, it made her traumatized. It was too late though, the government cameras had seen her. The government was going to send people after her so she had to run. She escaped and lived alone until she joined a pirate crew. She still has nightmares to this day about what happened and she now has a soft spot for people who remind her of her "father", the scientist. Despite being part of a pirate crew, she shows mercy to all children and men with blue hair. This made her struggle with depression along with her identity issues and trust issues. She self harms and has attempted suicide before. She killed Dr. Alan when she was 7 and joined the pirate crew when she was 9. Before that, she hasn't known freedom and she spent her whole life surrounded by only Dr. Alan.

Grace is shy, introverted, and quiet, but she is also stubborn and strong willed. She is very polite and well mannered, but she has a temper. She won't talk to you unless you talk to her first. She murmurs when she talks and hardly ever speaks up. If someone says something negative about her or about something she did, she'll remember it until she is alone and she will self harm to forget those words. She self harms by cutting her arms and plucking out the feathers in her wings. Even if comes to protecting people she loves though, she'll switch up and become very outgoing and strong, not shying away from a battle.

Grace speaks very quietly, but she doesn't stutter. Her attitude towards anything is nonchalant and it gives off the vibe that she doesn't care, even if she does. She has a distance attitude and she doesn't like to think about the past or she'll feel like self harming that night. She is very obedient and would do even drastic things if you told her to. For example, if you were to tell her to hunt and skin a pig, she would do it without hesitation. If they were to instruct her to get on a bed and have sex with 12 men, she would do it without hesitation. The only time she doesn't follow directions is when it involves children or blue haired men. Her voice is soft and never loud unless she's angry, but it is firm. She gets angry when people get too pushy about wanting to know about her past or hurt a child or a blue haired man. She usually never hesitates or questions the people who order her. She only listens to orders from people who she considers above her like her crewmates. She never lets her emotions show unless they involve her having a flashback, getting put into a situation where she has to pick one thing over the other, or Al when she's put through a romantic situation.

Grace has never loved anyone romantically before, but if a man were to pin her against the wall or kiss her out of the blue, she would get flustered very easily. The only time this wouldn't happen is when that man is her 'master'.

Grace doesn't talk unless she absolutely needs to. She won't talk to people or to herself. She'll just nod or gesture. She won't talk unless spoken to or unless it's absolutely necessary. She's stoic and emotionless. She's almost like a robot with the way her stomach never growls, she never yawns, never rests unless allowed, never stretches, never sighs, etc.

Before Dr. Alan was killed, he would torture, abuse, and assault Grace. He would whip her, hit her, and even do sexual things with her. All this served as means to make her into the perfect killing machine.
