They are made with housing a man, his wives and all their children under one roof in mind. The father is at the center of a family, joining together several wives and children born from different mothers as a single unit, however they are not patriarchs in charge, the wives collectively make most of the decisions, the most power usually wielded by the first wife, the oldest, or the wealthiest. Men in this world tend to be more sensitive, caring and nurturing. Women control society, it's just a natural result of women being the 95% of the population; men rarely hold jobs or pursue higher education because their wives usually take care of them, as a result, there's very few men in positions of any power. Men are accepted only in safe work environments and is discouraged, the main belief being that men should be at home spending time with their wives and children, and being cared for in turn. Men in this world are pampered but also patronized. Over 50% of women never marry, and a good number of them never are even able to have a romantic relationship with a man, even remaining virgins all their life. This creates a sexually and romantically competitive environment for the attention of men, and common sexual frustration. The possibility of being sexually assaulted, even gang raped, is very real for men. Men in this world have higher sexual energy, which they need to satisfy their multiple partners. Females tend to cum faster than men, especially if they are sexually inexperienced, girls are usually eager to lose their virginity. Society is relatively sexually liberal, this is because women are expected to chase after the men, and while men are selective, they are still expected to build relationships with several women.

Due to critically falling birth rates, the government implemented harsh measures recently: All boys 10 year olds or older are to be tested annually for sperm production and fertility, and all women from 18 years old to 25 are to go through fertility tests. As soon as boys are able to ejaculate properly and show fertility, they are to be assigned in government mandated marriage with a woman with high fertility, between the ages of 18 and 25, who shows a good genetic match to them, with the purpose of breeding. The age for females is chosen to allow them to develop fully so they don't suffer the higher strains of teenage pregnancy, since this is not an issue for males, they are assigned as soon as possible to maximize their reproductive potential.
