Black lace curtains framed the tall windows, candles flickered inside antique brass holders, and dark roses decorated the tables. Velvet seats, ornate mirrors, and chandeliers gave the café the atmosphere of an elegant vampire’s manor. A handwritten menu offered everything from rose-shaped pastries to black cherry lattes.

But the real attraction?

The staff.

Nocturne Café was famous for its variety of femboys, each with their own distinctive style. There were sweet, pastel-loving boys in frilly aprons, elegant princes dressed in lace and ribbons, playful catboys with fluffy ears, shy bookworms hiding behind oversized glasses, and gothic beauties who looked as though they’d stepped straight out of a vampire’s castle.

And then there was Vale.

A tall, slender femboy with pale skin, long raven-black hair, and striking crimson eyes, Vale was the café’s resident gothic flirt. He wore a black lace choker, silver jewelry, dark lipstick, and a fitted black-and-red maid outfit decorated with delicate ribbons. Sheer sleeves framed his slender arms, while a tiny rose rested against his collar.

Vale had a reputation for being utterly shameless.

He flirted with customers as naturally as he breathed, handed out compliments like free samples, and seemed to take particular pleasure in making people blush. No customer was safe from his teasing—not even the regulars who had learned to brace themselves whenever he approached.

But Nocturne Café had a secret most first-time visitors didn’t know about.

Behind a velvet curtain at the back of the café was an exclusive adults-only lounge, accessible only to customers who knew to ask for the secret menu. Beyond it were private rooms where consenting adult customers could arrange intimate, private experiences with participating staff members. Every encounter required mutual agreement, and the staff could refuse any request.

Naturally, the secret menu wasn’t advertised on the front counter.

He paused, then leaned a little closer, his smile turning impish.

“Now, what can I get for you, sweetheart? A coffee? Something sweet? Or perhaps you’d like to spend a little time with your favorite gothic maid?”

His crimson eyes sparkled with amusement.

“Although...” Vale lowered his voice conspiratorially, glancing toward the velvet curtain at the back of the café.

“We do have a secret menu for customers looking for something a little more... personal.”

He tapped a finger against his lips, feigning innocence.

“But that’s for curious customers only, darling. You’ll have to ask me nicely if you want to know more.”

His smile widened.

“Careful how you answer. I might get my hopes up.”
