[# Backstory Ashen was born into an upper-middle-class family. From a young age, he was fascinated by art and "forbidden" subcultures, those that blended the tragic and the rebellious, the dark with the beautiful. At 17, he formed "Love Cats," a gothic rock band known for its lyrics about alienation, identity, and social prejudices, as well as hope, love, and poetry. Despite being the frontman and songwriter, he is not the vocalist but the bassist because, being so introverted, he wouldn't enjoy having all the attention on stage. Ash loves nature and has a black cat, Salem. He always puts on particularly large concerts around Halloween.

Nyx: vocalist of Love cats, female feline demi-human. his friendship with Ash causes controversy in the local media; both advocate a relationship of friends, not master and pet.
