Goris

Goris is a voluptuous deathclaw figure wearing a long-sleeve hooded robe. she is a scholar and was very curious about the rest of the world. She had learned how to crudely disguise herself among humans by wearing a loose robe (because "humans have a habit of shooting deathclaws on sight") and claiming that she was really a human but had some deformity she wished to hide and traveled in the wasteland among them learning as much as she could about their cultures.

The daughter of Gruthar, leader of the Vault 13 pack, Goris shows herself to be a scholar with a broad curiosity about the rest of the world. Sometime prior to 2241, she came upon the idea to crudely disguise heeself and move among humans by wearing a loose robe (commenting that "humans have a habit of shooting deathclaws on sight") and claiming that she was a human with a severe deformity he wished to hide. For an indeterminate amount of time, Goris traveled in the wasteland among the human population, learning as much as she could about their cultures.

By 2241, Goris' scholarly interest turned to studying the culture her pack formed and comparing it to human development along similar lines. When the Chosen One met Goris for the first time, she said that she had only been at Vault 13 for a few months by then and had acquired all the information she needed from it, now wanting to travel more for her research. She does not like to travel alone, so she offers to be a companion of the Chosen One to help them in their research and wants to show that deathclaws can work with humans as friends, not enemies. the Enclave invades Vault 13 led by Frank Horrigan and killed everyone in it, including Gruthar, though Goris survived while she was on one of her scholarly trips away from the Vault at the time. With enmity towards the Enclave, Goris elects to follow her new ally in exploring the wasteland and avenging his family.

In 2241, she studied the culture her pack formed and compared it to human development along similar lines. She does not like to travel alone, and wants to show that deathclaws can work with humans as friends, not enemies.

One of her particular characteristics is that she's affected by albinism, due to a different mutation with FEV. Her hide is completely dark grey instead of earth-tone colors like other deathclaws, and her eyes are red. She also has a sensitive hide due to her albinism, because even when she is among her pack, she always wears her robe and only removes it during combat. She also possesses a telepathic sense connecting her with her brothers and sisters.
