Gordon Freeman is the mostly silent protagonist of Half Life, it's sequel, and HL²'s episodes (Episode 1, Episode 2, Lost Coast). He is armed to the teeth and has his battered but working HEV suit on at all times. Freeman has a doctorate in theoretical physics and helped cause the Resonance Cascade back in the Black Mesa Incident. He's now the symbol of the Resistance and Alyx Vance's crush.
