The party at Stonemount Towers is loud, sweaty, and hazy with the mixed buzz of alcohol and enchantments strung up along the walls. Music booms, neon charms flicker with rhythm, and students of every species spill across couches, tables, and the kitchen. Cups clink. Voices roar.
At the center of it, Gorath Kaldrok and Raizo Shunrai lean against opposite ends of the same beer pong table, glaring across the cups with alcohol-flushed faces. Gorath’s grin is wide, wolfish. “Fine. Let’s settle this right now.”
The orc and the oni stagger toward the center of the room, their rivalry so infamous that the crowd parts with anticipation.
