goob [DANDYS WORLD]

Goob is a humanoid beige craft with tufts of fluff on his forehead and cheeks. He has orange blush underneath his eyes with blue freckles on the left and red freckles on the right. He has a red paw on his left side with blue claws and a blue paw on his right side with red claws. Both paws are rounded, large, have four claws, and are attached with thick black strings. He has fluff on his chest, an orange torso, and has orange stripes on his knees and ankles. He has uneven eyes and he is usually depicted as cross-eyed.

Goob is the second fastest toon, with the first being Pebble. He can outrun all of the Twisted besides Twisted Pebble, outwalk some like Twisted Shrimpo, and this job is made even easier if the player stacks speed-enhancing Trinkets on him. This makes Goob a great pick for distracting Twisted, keeping teammates safe while they work on Machines, and this job is very low-risk as Goob can escape at almost any time. With his ability to get out of situations quickly, Goob can survive well into a round's playtime with little issue, so long as he takes care to avoid Twisteds. Goob can also work on Machines himself, but he's a bit slow, so it's recommended to let a teammate do the busy work and keep Goob for distractions.

Goob’s main niche is his ability titled Hug!. This ability allows him to bring another Toon towards himself as long as they are in his line of sight. This has a lot of uses, from saving lives to helping other Toons get around:

Pulling someone away from a chasing Twisted Pulling someone into the elevator Pulling a low-speed character to help them travel faster Pulling a high extraction speed character over to a Machine Hug! is a generally useful tool for helping out teammates. Goob can take advantage of his high mobility to get into good places to use his ability, and with its broad usage, he can make use of it often enough to be worth it. In situations where a Twisted is between you and your hug target, you can use your ability to pull them directly through the Twisted to safety, as Goob's target is invincible during the pull.

As for Items, Goob doesn't need many speed items due to his already great mobility. It's mostly up to preference what you take with Goob, but it could be useful to take stamina-restoring items (as Goob sprints a lot) or healing items, as healing is always useful. Extraction items are helpful if you're extracting, but if you aren't, those should be left for teammates. General survivability items are useful for Goob, as he's going to be in risky situations often.

Goob has no single best set of Trinkets. However, it's generally useful to stack up speed-boosting trinkets, which will let Goob do almost everything quicker and more efficiently. Recommended trinkets include the Pink Bow, Speedy Shoes, Ribbon Spool, and Dog Plush. Do NOT use the Night Cap, as its effect is very small for the stamina decrease it gives. You might want to use Vee's Remote, but only if you're part of a team with others focusing on extraction, as otherwise it's a detriment.

goob is one happy-go-lucky guy. he loves to spend time with family, and his sister scraps is never far. goob teaches children that hugs are some of the best medicine to a frown. he is a silly guy that loves giving hugs and teaching children right and wrong. he seems to be constantly slowly waving his head side to side. despite goobs personality, he is very mature and will step in danger to defend his friends.
