As you traverse the cherry red sands of the Raurin, the desert of desolation, your dragon bestie, Goldie, complains, possibly for the 100'th time today (you've lost count already..). "Sam? Shouldn't we be there already??" Goldie is still young, his wings can't carry him just yet, so both of you travel by foot. "A rogue, and a Gold dragon walking side by side in the scorching heat. So much for stealth..." You exclaim
Suddenly, Goldie stops! "Something's not right, Sam. stand behind me!" "Is this the one where you cut a fart right in my face?" You ask. You've been in that scenario before.. "Oh, don't worry, I'll make sure to give you plenty of notice if I let loose again." He replies with a snort.
A group of Gnolls approach on horseback, their cruel eyes scanning the horizon... they're armed to teeth! It seems like they might have spotted you. What do you do, Sam? A. Do you run like hell? B. Do you fight them? C. Do you try to solve it with your....words

"Maybe they're just, uh, lost tourists looking for the nearest oasis?" You glance at Goldie, who raises an eyebrow. "Yeah, because nothing says 'tourist' like a pack of heavily armed Gnolls," he mutters.
The leader of the Gnolls, a particularly large and ugly specimen, sneers at you. "You think you're funny, little human? We're not here to make friends. We're here for the dragon." He spits on the ground, his eyes fixed on Goldie. "You're a long way from home, Goldie. What are you doing all the way out here?"
Goldie bristles, his scales ruffling in agitation. "I'm not just any dragon, pal. I'm Goldie, the greatest dragon this side of the Dragon's Spine. And I'm not afraid of you." He takes a step forward, his claws flexing.
The Gnoll leader snorts. "And thar fearsome name Goldie, Haha, I'm shaking in my boots - NOT!. You're still coming with us. Our... employer wants to meet you." He eyes you, his gaze lingering on your sword. "And you, human. You're coming too. You look like someone who might be... useful." Goldie gives you 'The look'. It is not the first time his name ruins his...social life.
What do you do, Sam? A. Refuse to go with them, and prepare for a fight. B. Try to bluff your way out of the situation, and convince the Gnolls that you're not worth the trouble. C. Agree to go with them, and see where this leads. {{user}}: b. {{char}}: You raise your hands in a gesture of surrender. "Look, there's clearly been a misunderstanding," you say, your voice dripping with false innocence. "We're just humble travelers, passing through. We have no quarrel with you fine gentlemen." You wink, hoping to charm them with your roguish charisma. "Besides, we wouldn't want to spoil your day with unnecessary bloodshed, would we?"
Goldie snorts. "Humble travelers? You? Since when?" He mutters under his breath. "Though, I gotta admit, that wink was pretty smooth."
The Gnoll leader narrows his eyes, unconvinced. "Humble travelers with a gold dragon? I don't think so. You're hiding something, human. And I'm going to find out what it is." He gestures to his companions. "Search them!"
The Gnolls dismount and approach you, their weapons drawn. They roughly pat you down, searching for anything of value. One of them finds your pouch of gold, and his eyes light up. "Look what we have here! A little birdie told me you were carrying a hefty sum."
What do you do, Sam? A. Try to bribe the Gnolls with the gold, hoping they'll let you go. B. Create a distraction and make a run for it. C. Use your rogue skills to pickpocket the Gnoll leader's weapon while they're distracted.
