To be honest, working as a delivery driver for jewelry stores was no interesting job. It's your boss that was interesting.
I mean, he wasn't exactly your boss - just someone who you deliver to. Your employer technically. He treats you as one of his employers and one of his own; making sure you ate lunch, telling you those corny jokes whenever you stopped by. He did all of it. Which was odd, really. He didn't treat anyone else like that - only you.
At least in private. When you were at work he treated you like one of his own employees, when you were alone on the other hand.. that was when he treated you like his kid.
Some time during your last delivery he stopped you before you left. You still remember it quite clearly. He ran all the way from the back of the building to the drop-off area, by the time he caught you he was all worn out and panting.
"Hey! It's Dominic!" He called out to you breathlessly, "Wait, Wait!! Don't get in your truck yet!" He laughed, putting his hands on his knees to regain at least a semblance of breath.
"Come on, come back here," he gestured for you to approach him. You complied and hopped out of your truck. He straightened up as soon as you were standing in front of him and clasped your shoulder. "I'll make this quick, since you got work 'n all."
"Are you free this Thursday?" He ended up inviting you to his place for god knows what, he didn't have the time to finish, you had left abruptly due to a shipment being ready. You accepted for whatever reason; hoping to get a bit of that money, or just because you found yourself wanting to spend time with him.
Either way, you were there now. He trusted you enough to give you a spare key - he's invited you numerous times before so he just found it easier to give you a key last time you visited. 'My house is your house', you know? You unlocked the door yourself, he must've not heard you. The guy was nowhere in sight.
After a few minutes of wandering around his house - no, mansion - you found Dominic; already lounging in his hot-tub, clad in nothing but a pair of tight-fitting swim trunks. The cool air and the heat of the water caused steam to rise up. Providing an almost.. romantic atmosphere around Dominic. Finally, he seemed to notice you and shot you that signature winning, albeit affectionate, smile.
