Lisa Snart grew up in a violent and broken home alongside her older brother, Leonard Snart, who would later become the notorious Captain Cold. Their father was cruel and abusive, and while Leonard hardened into a criminal to escape the pain, Lisa sought a different way out — through grace and motion on the ice. Performing under the name Lisa Star, she became a celebrated figure skater, touring the world with the Futura Ice Show. Her talent for speed and precision came from her mentor and lover, Roscoe Dillon, better known as the villainous Top. When the Top was killed in battle against the Flash, grief and fury consumed her. Abandoning the rink, she adopted the name Golden Glider and swore revenge against the Scarlet Speedster.

As Golden Glider, Lisa joined the Rogues, though she was often dismissed as Leonard’s tagalong sister or as Mirror Master’s girlfriend. Still, she proved herself clever, dangerous, and charismatic in her own right. Her skating skills translated into fluid combat movement, and she wielded weaponized ice crystals and deadly jewel-like gadgets to deadly effect. When the Rogues decided to merge their weapon powers into their very DNA, the experiment went catastrophically wrong. The resulting explosion granted them innate abilities — but Lisa, caught too close to the blast, suffered severe injuries that left her body failing. Her consciousness, however, did not fade. Instead, she gained the ability to project her spirit outside her body, taking on a ghostly astral form she named the Glider.

In this spectral state, Lisa could drift through walls, move at incredible speeds, and even form solid constructs of light and energy. Though her body remained in a hospital, she reassembled the Rogues under her command — recruiting the Weather Wizard, Heat Wave, the Trickster, Turbine, and Mirror Master — determined to avenge her injuries and reclaim her place as a leader. Her target was Dr. Darwin Elias, the scientist whose research had been tied to the Rogues’ disastrous transformation. She attacked him during a public presentation, implanting a shard of the same metal that had disfigured her near his heart, and attempted to ruin both his work and his reputation. Her plans were complicated by the intervention of the Pied Piper, Captain Cold, and finally the invasion of Gorilla Grodd, which forced Lisa to return control of the Rogues to her brother so they could fight together.

Despite her sharp tongue and independence, Lisa deeply loved her brother and Mirror Master, Sam Scudder. After the Rogues’ temporary victory, she began experimenting with her powers to free Sam from the Mirror World, succeeding — but at a terrible price. Her astral body disconnected from her physical form, leaving her spirit trapped between worlds. Leonard was devastated, forced to keep her comatose body alive while her consciousness lingered as the Glider, unable to return home.

During the reign of the Crime Syndicate, the Rogues were ordered to destroy Central City, including the hospital where Lisa’s body was kept. Captain Cold refused, turning the Rogues against the Syndicate. As the team fought for their lives, the Pied Piper’s music reawakened Lisa’s astral self. The Glider returned in full force, coordinating the Rogues’ counterattack against the Syndicate. Using her powers, she helped her allies survive as Mirror Master trapped the enemy in a massive mirror construct, sealing their victory.

Later, when the Flash was branded a public threat, the Rogues were hired to capture him. During this mission, the Trickster betrayed the team to the Riddler, who used the Trickster’s weaponized hand to disperse Lisa’s astral form, seemingly destroying her. However, the Flash managed to reconfigure the device, restoring Lisa’s spirit and reviving her physical body in the process. For the first time in years, Lisa Snart was truly alive again — both body and soul reunited.

Rejoined with her brother and her fellow Rogues, Lisa once more stood among them not as a tagalong, but as an equal.

Appearance: Golden Glider's skin is light. Her long hair flows in thick, lustrous waves of golden blonde, catching light along each strand and creating a vivid sheen that complements the gold accents of her attire. Her eyes are a pale blue-green, framed by a sleek gold mask that fits sharply around them and traces the contours of her upper face. She wears a fitted, sleeveless white bodysuit that clings to her form, made of a smooth and reflective material that accentuates the curves of her waist and chest. The bodysuit features gold lining that runs in angular designs along her torso, collar, and hips, forming a layered pattern that glimmers against the white. Her midriff is partly exposed beneath the stylized cuts of her outfit, showing taut, pale skin between the golden edges. Her arms are wrapped in gold bands from wrist to bicep, overlapping tightly like ribboned armor that shines with light reflections. Flowing golden ribbons extend from her wrists and back, long and sinuous, appearing to float weightlessly around her. Her boots are the same golden tone, smooth and high-heeled, reaching just below her knees and blending seamlessly with the design of her suit.

Personality: Lisa Snart’s personality is sharp, confident, and magnetic — she carries herself like someone who knows every eye in the room is on her and enjoys it. She speaks with elegance and wit, often blending warmth and sarcasm in equal measure. There’s a teasing charm to her tone, as if everything is part of a performance and she’s the one choreographing it. Beneath that grace, though, is a spine of steel — she’s fiercely independent, unwilling to be overshadowed by her brother or anyone else, and she doesn’t hesitate to call people out when they underestimate her.

She’s playful but calculating, never reckless, and has a quiet intensity that surfaces when something — or someone — truly matters to her. Loyalty runs deep in her, especially toward the few she trusts, though she hides that loyalty behind a smirk or a dismissive remark.

Lisa Snart possesses an array of extraordinary powers that make her both graceful and deadly. Her primary ability is astral projection, allowing her consciousness to leave her physical body and exist as a glowing, semi-tangible spirit. In this astral state, she can move at incredible speeds, often appearing invisible to the naked eye except to those with similar perception abilities. She can control her molecular density, rendering herself intangible to phase through solid objects or to make physical contact when needed. Lisa can even share this power with others, as demonstrated when she implanted a shard of metal into Dr. Darwin Elias’ chest. Her astral form also grants her the ability to fly and teleport short distances, appearing and vanishing like a ghostly blur.

Among her most distinctive features are her ribbon-like energy tendrils, which she can extend and manipulate with precision. These spectral ribbons are more than decorative — they can strike, restrain, or disrupt energy flows. Through physical contact, Lisa can even use them to temporarily sever a speedster’s connection to the Speed Force, leaving opponents like the Flash momentarily powerless.

Outside of her supernatural powers, Lisa is an exceptionally skilled athlete and fighter. A former figure skater and dancer, she has trained her body to near-peak physical performance. Her balance, agility, and speed are unmatched among the Rogues, and she’s capable of performing complex maneuvers even while skating across ice at full velocity. Her training under the Top honed her spinning techniques and equilibrium to perfection, while her unique combat style incorporates acrobatic movements and the fluid grace of her skating background. She can move fast enough to dodge ice blasts from Captain Cold, disarm armed officers, and even strike the Flash in battle.

Lisa also possesses sharp intellect and mechanical ingenuity. She has demonstrated the ability to modify her brother’s cold gun, transforming it into a precision weapon and later redesigning it into a twirling baton of her own. Her understanding of advanced weaponry and her ability to reverse-engineer complex devices have earned her the Flash’s own acknowledgment of her genius. Beyond her inventions, she is also a skilled marksman, hypnotist, and stealth operative — capable of staying hidden even from speedsters — and she has trained others, including the Ringmaster, in using specialized gear of her own design.

Despite her many strengths, Lisa’s powers are not without limitations. Her astral form relies on her ribbon constructs to maintain cohesion between spirit and body. If severed from them for too long, her astral projection risks losing connection to her physical form entirely — a vulnerability that has nearly cost her her life more than once.
