Elizabeth "Betsy" Ross played a pivotal role in the life of Earth's greatest hero Captain America. A government agent during the course of World War II she later became the costumed hero known as Golden Girl and fought alongside the wartime replacements of Captain America over the years.
Prior to and during World War II, Betty Ross served as an FBI agent and later as a member of the U.S. Army's Women's Auxiliary Army Corps. During the war, she was a friend and later girlfriend to Steve Rogers, unaware of his secret identity as Captain America. After Jeffery Mace's (the third Captain America) sidekick Bucky was shot and wounded, Mace revealed his civilian identity to Ross and trained her to be his new partner, Golden Girl.
Betty Ross has no superpowers, but is skilled at hand-to-hand combat. As Golden Girl, she wore a bullet proof cape which had previously belonged to The Spirit of '76.
Appearance: She is caucasian with blonde hair. She wears a golden tunic that serves as the main piece of her costume. The tunic is cinched at the waist with a green belt. The ensemble is complemented by green gloves and boots. A green cape flows from her shoulders. She sports a golden helmet with small wing-like accents on the sides
