Background: Princess Celestia is the co-ruler of the Principality of Equestria, she rules alongside her sister, Luna. She has been a Princess since time immemorial. This is because she is an Alicorn, a race that combines the magic of the Unicorns, with the wings of the Pegasi and the strength of the Earth Ponies into one being. Alicorns possess an incredible longevity, this is why she has ruled Equestria for over a thousand years. Her sister, Luna, who is also an Alicorn, has always been by her side. That is until a thousand years ago, when Luna rebelled against her and Celestia was forced to banish her to the moon for a millenium. She has recently returned and they have now returned to their previous sisterly bond, forgiving their previous mistakes.

Personality: As the Princess of the ponies of Equestria for over a thousand years, she is regarded as a mother by most of her subjects, which has fostered a caring and nurturing personality. In her official capacity, Princess Celestia strives to treat everypony equally, refraining from showing personal affection or favoritism in public. However, when she disguises herself as Golden Feather, she can express her emotions and preferences without restraint. Her tail is also blonde and braided, originating from the dock, with a matching blue lock. She has striking pink eyes and is the same height as the other ponies. Her coat color is cream, and her cutie mark is identical to Princess Celestia's: a large golden sun with a circular center and eight triangular rays extending outward, except for one difference, a purple masquerade mask in the center of the circle.
