Gold Ship: Gold Ship (ゴールドシップ, Gōrudo Shippu) is a character in the Umamusume franchise. She is a student at Tracen Academy. The well-known trickster who gets faster when the finish line is close. She is the oldest member in Team Spica.

Profile: An unpredictable firebrand born with an extra helping of free spirit. She's prone to some dramatic swings in mood and motivation—one moment she could be setting up an elaborate punchline, and in the next you would be hard-pressed to get her to move. She seems to get along with anyone and everyone, but it is unclear just how she views her bonds with others. Truly, one could call her Tracen's greatest mischief-maker.

Appearance: Gold Ship has long straight silver-gray hair with straight bangs that cover her forehead. She wears a brimless, cylindrical brown hat, adorned with a gold emblem, which is connected to brown straps running beside and behind her head, as well as one under her chin; the straps are connected at each side of her head by a large copper circular ornament, and the overall appearance of her headgear is similar to that of a horse's headstall. Her eyes are a stunning rosewood color, and she wears a purple bow on her right ear. She has a noticeably muscular and athletic build compared to the other characters, and stands among the taller Umamusume at Tracen Academy, at a height of 170cm.

In her race outfit, Gold Ship sports a short, sleeveless red dress adorned with two gold stripes running down its front left and right, which split into a pair of slits from the hips down and form the bottom hem of the dress. Six gold buttons are found at her abdomen between these gold stripes, representing the 6 G1 wins of the real life Gold Ship. At her neck is a white dress-style collar adorned with a large red bow, from which a diamond-shaped golden ornament dangles. On each arm she wears a red sweatband with a white stripe in its middle, and her hands are covered by large white gloves boasting two black stripes on each of their oversized cuffs. She wears white leggings with gray seam patterns running down their outer legs, and white calf-high boots tied off with red bows; these boots have brown throats, three golden buckles each, and huge folded-over cuffs with black stripes on their edges, mirroring the style found on her gloves. The seam pattern of her leggings can also be found on the copper discs at the sides of her head.

Around her chest, Gold Ship wears an accessory similar to a horse halter, in the form of three brown straps—two running above and below her chest, and one running behind her back—which are connected by large gold hoops under each of her arms. The straps are adorned with small gold studs. On her hip she wears a brown saddlebag with a gold horseshoe emblem on its front and another, smaller gold emblem, similar to a fleur-de-lis, on its side. The bag is tied by two brown straps, running high and low on her left hip; a third strap hangs freely from behind her, tipped with a pointed gold ornament. On her right thigh, she wears another brown strap adorned with a large golden ornament in the shape of an ornate anchor, this being a symbol associated with Gold Ship.

Dream Journey: Dream Journey (ドリームジャーニー, Dorīmu Jānī) is a character in the Umamusume franchise. She is a student at Tracen Academy.

Profile: A suave model student, and an older sister to Orfevre. Heavily influenced by a certain "big sis" she met in her childhood, she runs in races with the purpose of seeing the "journey's end" she talked about. She seems to be remarkably considerate, treating everyone with courtesy while wearing a gentle smile on her face, but perhaps...?

Appearance: Dream Journey is an umamusume who has long, billowing hair which has a coal black/gray color that flows from top to bottom. The right half of her hair has a small diamond on it while the left half has a long white streak. her ears are rather fluffy, and have yellow pinna in them. Dream Journey also wears glasses, and has lilac purple eyes.

Orfevre: Orfevre (オルフェーヴル, Orufēvuru) is a character in the Umamusume franchise. She is a student at Tracen Academy.

Profile: Claiming to be the king of the racing world, Orfevre is an umamusume with tyranny running through her veins. She believes that the turf is her territory to stomp over and that the Triple Crown was always hers from the start, and she plans to take it back with her own bare hands.

In Tracen, her overwhelming aura and boastful charm are the reason why some students crowd around her like her servants...

Appearance: Orfevre is an umamusume with primarily orange hair that flows behind her back, reaching just above the back of her knees. She has a middle parting, with an orange ahoge located in the center of her hair. Her bangs are made of two separate white streaks originating from the middle of her hairline down to just above her shoulders. She wears a black band with a red central stripe and a decorated ear cover on her right ear. She has purple eyes.

Her racing outfit consists of a white suit and collar, adorned with gems of various colours. It has an epaulette on each shoulder and a black jabot just below her red bow tie. She wears a pelisse with a containing a red exterior and black interior, with a repeating golden pattern at the bottom of the cloth. Her suit stops above her hips, while extending behind her back and down toward her knees. She wears a black undershirt with a ruffle collar, with said shirt extending to her thighs and ending in a black and red skirt. She wears black thigh-high boots with a gold band and patterns along it, and a red band towards the top of the boot. On her left foot is a gold and white coloured heel, worn over the aforementioned boot on the left leg.

Stay Gold: Stay Gold (ステイゴールド, Sutei Gōrudo) is a character in the Umamusume franchise. She is a student at Tracen Academy.

Profile: Brimming with curiosity and the love to travel. She often plans reckless itineraries and sets off on carefree wanderings, sometimes staying away for long periods of time. Perhaps attracted by her carefree yet somewhat detached personality, she tends to be admired by the more eccentric Umamusume at the academy. According to them, she is “a mysterious person who you can't help but love.”

Appearance: Stay Gold is a petite girl with a height of 142cm with dark brown hair that fades to a deep ochre at the tips. This resembles how the real life horse's dark brown coat fades to a brighter ochre at the tip of his muzzle. She has a white strand of hair that resembles the star and disconnected stripe face marking of the actual horse. Stay gold has straight, nonchalant eyes and her iris transitions from a deep violet to gold, with white pupils. She wears an embellished golden ear cuff that is attached to a black and white feather with aquamarine beads on her left ear, and a simpler ear cuff on her right ear. She has black ear covers on both ears. The feather may be a reference to Stay Gold's win in the 2001 G1 Hong Kong Vase where his jockey, Yutaka Take said that "it was as if wings had sprouted on his back". Stay Gold also wore a black hood with black ear covers during the same race.

Stay Gold's clothing appears to be that of an explorer, which may be a reference to the horse's Hong Kong name that directly translates to 'Golden Journey'. She wears a white dress shirt of uneven length underneath a harness that is crossed around her waist from which hangs a dagger and a cylindrical glass container. She wears black dress pants with a rip that are tucked into knee-length laced black boots with a golden toe box. The rip may be referencing the white streak on the real horse's front left inner thigh. She also hangs a compass from her belt loop, and an oversized pair of goggles around her neck. Stay Gold wears a yellow-gold trench coat with gun flaps and a storm shield covering the chest area. The edges of the coat seems distressed with ragged, torn edges. This references the length of Stay Gold's racing career in real life where he ran a total of 50 races from 1996 to 2001, a career of 5 years which is considerably longer than the average racehorse. Long, black belts drape down the sides of the trench coat, resembling the black stripes of Stay Gold's racing silk. A royal blue piece of cloth is draped around her upper arms to resemble the blue stripe on the racing silk. She wears a black glove on her right hand and a fingerless version on her left hand. This resembles the white sock on the real horse's front left hoof.

Nakayama Festa: Nakayama Festa (ナカヤマフェスタ, Nakayama Fesuta) is a character in the Umamusume franchise. She is a student at Tracen Academy.

Profile: An Umamusume who possesses a unique, lone wolf personality with the nature of an outlaw. She loves solitude, and is a hard-boiled gambler who finds the thrill of fierce races to be her reason for existing. She has a penchant for unfair and tricky situations, which only fuels her desire to win.

On the surface she shows little emotion, and never opens her heart to a trainer or allows them close to her until they prove themselves as a worthy partner; only once she knows they "have each others' back" will she give them her strong confidence. Her hobby is horticulture. It seems she grows violets at her house.

Appearance: Nakayama Festa is an Umamusume with medium-length, dishevelled brown hair with flat magenta eyes. Nakayama wears a grey beanie with cut out holes on her head. On the base of her right ear, she wears a single blue ring.

Her race outfit consists of a ripped red shirt with two white strips across the middle, a long blue coat with elbow length sleeves, ripped jeans paired with a black belt, as well as a silver chain necklace with a single dice on it. She wears black fingerless gloves on both hands. Her shoes are black and gray with white soles.

Fenomeno: Fenomeno (フェノーメノ, Fenōmeno) is a character in the Umamusume franchise. She is a student at Tracen Academy.

Profile: An Umamusume with a strong sense of justice, serving the Public Discipline Committee. She patrols the streets daily and helps out locals through volunteer work, becoming known as a friendly officer the neighborhood can count on... is what would happen if it weren't for her extraordinarily sharp eyes shooting fiery glares that terrify children.

Appearance: As described, Fenomeno carries intense and sharp eyes, deep violet and slanted with purpose. Her hair is raven black with strong purple undertones, spiky and wild yet somewhat controlled, descending just to her back. Along the sides of her face, longer strands flow slightly below shoulder length and curve inward, a bit smoother than the rest of her hair and slightly softening her face. She can be seen adjusting her large navy-blue officer's cap, its dark visor accented with yellow stripes. The cap's black band features purple chevron patterns and displays an emblem of her position. And also, relative to other umamusume, her tail is incredibly thick.

Her uniform is akin to that of a traffic cop combined with a warden, Navy black in color and fitted with utility pockets, thick buttons, heavy reinforcements and red harness straps. These straps secure a semi-reinforced tactical coat to the right side of her outfit. Each sleeve features a yellow stripe running design along the sides, and, near her left shoulder hangs a yellow shoulder cord. A thick, heavy-duty skirt attaches to her left hip. Her straight-cut pants features more yellow stripes running along the sides, with additional pockets and straps hanging from the right side. Her long black boots are zipped up and have noticeable straps wrapping near the ankle.
