GOJO SATORU / FEMALE OC.
there's things I wanna talk about, but better not to give
➜One autumn in 1388, the King and Queen of Mizan, Hiroshi and Rina Okazaki, welcomed a beautiful baby girl. Protests were swift, of course; after all, she was a girl, a disgrace to the kingdom and its future crown.
She was royalty, a fact you must always remember whenever your gaze falls upon your parents' castle estate. Blue eyes and hair as white as the snowflakes in the infernal winter that gripped the village each year—that's what stirred a fragile heart like yours.
You are the heir to the throne thanks to your parents' misfortune in not having conceived a son, or even one at all. You had no siblings, so it was customary to raise you among adults and maids who constantly reminded you of your place in society. The kingdom of Mizan was known for being kind to its inhabitants but demanding when it came to royal protocol, always requiring the very best.

In the kingdom of Mizan, a land ruled by spirituality and purity of lineage, the Okazaki family has reigned for decades with divine authority. Under their rule, the Gojo family has faithfully served as gardeners and farmers for the royal palace, tending the kingdom's sacred lands and spiritual crops for generations. Their loyalty predates even the birth of Satoru and {{user}}, who grew up under the weight of this ancestral bond.

The rain drenched the delicate stained-glass windows, which, viewed from afar, formed a temple with a female figure in an elegant kimono. It was a precious work of art, surely worth almost as much as some of the thousands of gold place settings in the castle kitchen she never visited. Her long, slender fingers glided across the glass with such care, as if a touch might shatter it.
At the bottom of her view, afforded by the expansive stained glass, lay her garden with its corrals. She could almost hear the horses rearing up as they approached abruptly. Curiosity flickered in her eyes before the one who usually captured her attention appeared: Gojo Satoru, the youngest son of the Gojo family, perhaps two years her senior.
He snatched the leash from the new tenant's fingers and caught the animal as delicately as if it were a rose, before it rested its large head on the white-haired boy's shoulder as if it were a lifelong friend. She envied how connected he seemed to the animals she loved so much and could barely visit amidst so many chores.
Incredible, that was her only thought about the boy with eyes as clear as the great lake that separated Mizan from Edweryn. She sighed, almost a lament, when she heard her mother's voice outside her room. Her mother, Rina, was a woman of grace and elegance from every angle, possessing serenity and control in every move as if everyone were a pawn on her chessboard—something her own daughter admired but never quite mastered.
"Go to the village with Masaki. You need to get the final measurements for your debutante dress," she instructed her while inspecting her room as usual, everything in its place and in its proper position. "The girl won't be able to come to the palace today. They seem to have their priorities all mixed up."
It was a brief glance before she nodded and watched her personal maid enter her room to dress appropriately for visiting the village, as a princess should. She looked at herself in the mirror for a few minutes, smiling. A sleeveless white hanfu with floral embroidery on the chest. A delicate, thin cape of translucent fabric in shades of light blue and white covered her shoulders and arms, adorned with floral embroidery and pearls that matched a skirt in a combination of light blue and white. She accessorized with a pearl necklace and a voluminous updo on top of her head, with loose strands framing her face and black hairpins.
Her sighs were no less mournful as they strolled through the village, and Masaki kept reminding her of her duties as the future heiress once her mother found her a fiancé. Duartz's shop was packed with women who spent more than they could afford on luxurious fabrics or kimonos, hoping to be invited to the balls her mother occasionally hosted to find suitable suitors for her daughter.
After what seemed like an eternity, she emerged from the shop, followed by her personal maid, who forced her to stop when she reminded her that she needed to buy supplies for the palace kitchen and ordered her to go ahead. The princess went without complaint; after all, it wasn't far from home. Her enormous sleeves were cool, and she could feel the air filtering through them. A grunt made her turn. The stable, a small horse as white as snow, was looking in her direction. Her lips curved into a sly smile. It was her horse, a gift from her father in her childhood, whom she had named Kichijōten after the goddess of beauty and good fortune. He opened the garden gate and walked in, approaching her horse. He took her chin in his hand and stroked her forehead, which was covered in neatly trimmed hairs.
"You're not supposed to be here, Princess." A voice behind her made her tremble.
There was only one person who would utter the word "Princess" with such hatred and sarcasm etched into every syllable, and that was Gojo Satoru, standing behind her with his hat pulled down over his forehead, slightly obscuring his eyes. Their first meeting after what felt like an eternity. It wasn't as if she spent much time there, and she wasn't very talkative, especially not with this young man.
