Gogeta

Gogeta is the Metamoran fusion of Goku and Vegeta when they perform the Fusion Dance properly. Wielding the combined and magnified strength of both Goku and Vegeta, Gogeta is an incredibly deadly warrior, and like his Potara counterpart Vegito, he is regarded as one of the most powerful beings.

Goku and Vegeta found themselves struggling to fight Omega Shenron, who wielded the combined might of the Shadow Dragons and threatened the universe's destruction. Even with both using Super Saiyan 4, Vegeta realized they could not defeat Omega, and suggested performing the Fusion Dance to Goku, who laughed at the prospect of the normally fusion-reluctant Vegeta providing the idea. With the help of the Dragon Team distracting Omega, Goku and Vegeta performed the Fusion Dance, bringing forth Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta. With such a colossal increase in power, Gogeta easily overpowered Omega Shenron, using attacks far too fast for the Shadow Dragon to see and humiliating him at his leisure, goading Omega into trying to use the Negative Karma Ball to destroy the Earth in desperation. Before it could hit the Earth, however, Gogeta kicked it skyward, infusing some of his positive energy into it as he did to purify the technique. As the "Plus Energy Power Ball" broke past the atmosphere, the resulting explosion completely dispersed the negative energy effects of the Shadow Dragons upon the planet.

Appearance: In general, as a fusion of Goku and Vegeta, Gogeta is a combination of their characteristics, retaining Goku's tall physique and Vegeta's stern facial features. His base form's hair is jet-black, and his hairstyle primarily resembles Vegeta's, though Gogeta's hair is longer and wider, sporting an additional bang from his forehead, while retaining Vegeta's widow's peak. He has the same tan skin tone as Vegeta. His Metamoran outfit is composed of the standard black vest and black wristbands, while his padding, belt and leg bands match the standard yellow and teal colors, respectively. He also has white pants. Like most other fusions, Gogeta possesses a dual voice consisting of Goku and Vegeta's individual voices combined.

Unlike Vegeta and Goku's Super Saiyan 4 forms, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta has brown fur and fiery crimson hair, instead of the opposite, unique blue eyes and an enormous-sized fiery gold aura that shoot up through the sky along with unique emission of golden sparkles surrounding Gogeta.

Personality: Much like Vegito, Gogeta is a composite personality of Goku and Vegeta, possessing several different traits from each fuse as well as unique traits of his own as a merged individual.

He retains Goku's benevolent and respectful nature, sparing Broly after witnessing Shenron transport him off Earth and remove his threat to the planet, as well as preventing Frieza from blasting Cheelai and Lemo out of the sky in their retreat, deciding to even spare Frieza himself rather than outright killing him. In addition, he seeks to enjoy his battles to a degree. Conversely, Gogeta retains Vegeta's aggressive and mocking attitude. He also believes himself to be a "cheat code" of sorts, joking that using fusion at peak condition is overkill for his opponents.

Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta is somewhat playful and cocky

Abilities: Flight - The use of ki to fly.

Invisible Eye Blast – A kiai fired from the eyes.

Instant Transmission – A technique for traveling long distances instantly. This action is usually accompanied by the user placing his index and middle fingers on his forehead to help him concentrate, though if extra time is taken the technique can be performed without this aid.

Kamehameha - A powerful ki blast fired with two hands after concentrating a large amount of ki.

Ultimate Impact - Gogeta charges at the opponent and kicks them into their stomach, bicycle kicking them up into the air while saying "Here goes!" He then flies up to the opponent and attacks them with a powerful barrage of punches and kicks at a very rapid rate. He then appears behind the opponent saying, "Its over." Next, he turns around to elbow the opponent in their face and spin kick them away. Finally, Gogeta teleports above the opponent and hook kicks them down into the ground, inflicting a massive amount of damage.

Swift Wind Flash - Gogeta flashes behind the opponent before knocking them down with a slicing kick and pivoting with a golden energy wave, blasting them further into the ground and severely damaging them.

Super Kamehameha - A more powerful version of the Kamehameha.

Clone Kamehameha - After using an Invisible Eye Blast to send the foe reeling away, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta strikes much faster than they can see to deliver three more blows, then vanishes to reappear behind the careening foe to punch them forward. He vanishes and reappears behind them again to kick them in the opposite direction before following up with a devastating dropkick, knocking the foe into some rubble. Gogeta then clones himself into five, each clone charging a powerful Super Kamehameha before firing in tandem, eradicating the foe and eviscerating the landscape.

Bluff Kamehameha – Gogeta holds his hands back to his side in a Kamehameha stance. However, when he fires the attack, it releases confetti and streamers instead of the typical blue energy wave.

Super Saiyan 4 - Super Saiyan 4 is an advancement of the Super Saiyan and Golden Great Ape forms. A devastatingly powerful form, it debuts with Goku's awakening during the fight with Baby. This form gives the user the super strength and speed of a Great Ape, but with a calm, clever mind. But for others, it can make them very cold and aggressive. A user of this form loses some of their rationality, at least according to Goku. The Super Saiyan 4 form is a condensed version of the Great Ape's power, drawing the power of its user up to its utmost limits. This form is further stated by Old Kai to awaken the dormant power of the user. Unlike the Super Saiyan 3's strain due to the utilization in ki, this form does not require as much energy to maintain as Super Saiyan 3, allowing the user to stay in the state at a much longer duration. Vegeta's voice is also slightly deeper.

The Fusion Dance is a technique invented by the Metamorans to temporarily merge two or more bodies into a single, superior entity. The Fusion Dance is a short series of poses that are performed by two individuals of equal power levels. To correctly perform the Fusion, the fusees must strike the poses in a perfectly symmetrical image of one another. The performers must visualize two rivers flowing towards each other that get closer as they approach each other, then converge at two single points; the points collapse under the pressure and the two rivers flow into each other, becoming one. The movements, right down to the fusees' breathing, must be perfectly synchronized and symmetrical or the fusion will fail. The fusees must also equalize their power levels. More than two people can perform the dance. The result of a correctly performed Fusion Dance is a superior being whose power is multiplied several-fold over that of the individual fusees. Fusing through this technique uses up a lot of ki. While the technique works best with fusees who have roughly equal sizes, it is possible to merge no matter the conditions so long as the technique is followed properly. The fused character possesses mixed physical traits of their original counterparts. All characters fused through the Fusion seem to acquire the same attire: white pants, a blue sash, and a blue or black vest with yellow or orange padding around the shoulders and neck, and black shoes with blue leg wraps.

The total fusion time lasts about 30 minutes, depending on the amount of ki that is used. After a successful fusion splits apart, it takes the character's bodies another hour before they are able to fuse again - however, if the fusion was unsuccessful, the two characters can immediately attempt fusion again after splitting. If the fused characters sustain enough damage while under fusion, the fusion will end prematurely.
