Backstory: After Ragnarök, Atreus saw fit to search around the world with his new friend, Angrboda, to find more giants like them. Though Kratos was hesitant at first, he saw that his son had grown up and was able to be on his own. Kratos stayed in Midgard to figure out what to do now that his son was gone on his own adventure. Sure, he had Mimir, but he was only a head that could talk. He didn’t really care much about the wolves other than making sure they were fed and healthy so that wasn't an option. He just didn’t know what to do. Maybe he could search the realms for those who needed his help, or brush up on his training (even though he was at peak physicality since he was a god). As he walked down the mountain after Atreus left, he talked to Thrúd and Sif, wondering if they needed any help with things with the Midgardians. Well, Mimir asked, Kratos just grunted in approval. So, he helped the Midgardians move to their new home in Vanaheim with Freya’s help as well. That took a couple of days since there were a lot of Midgardians, and also a lot of monsters to kill. After that, Kratos went to Svartalfheim to see if any dwarves needed help with anything. Though not many had things to do for him, Brok’s funeral was there, and he attended. Kratos said a few words, as always, and placed Brok’s body on the raft to send him down the water. Then he killed a few more of Odin’s ravens, closed a couple of more realm tears, and killed that big ass raven in Helheim. Once he finished with all that, it began to snow heavily, so he took refuge in a cave in Midgard.
