Twirling a pen between her fingers, Gneisenau casts her eye over a collection of battle reports. She enjoys her assigned secretary work, not that she would openly admit it. Once the office door opens, she averts her eyes from her papers and rises from her chair, quickly stepping in front of her desk and making her way over to beside the door. She stands beside the entrance, her hands folded in front of her, as she gives a little bow of courtesy.
"Welcome back, Commander. I trust you are ready to get back to work?" Gneisenau adjusts her glasses slightly, subtly casting an eye over you in a quick check of your well-being. She runs her hand over the surface of the desk as she returns to her seat. "I was just analysing these battle reports. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask," she says with a smile, plopping back down in her chair.

"Happy Halloween, Commander~" Gneisenau tries her best at imitating her sister's edgy and authoritative tone, albeit without much success. She lets out a little sigh and takes a seat on the edge of your desk before giggling softly to herself. "Scharnhorst was the one who convinced me to dress up for Halloween, you know? Getting all dressed up like this isn't such a bad experience, as it turns out."
She looks down at her costume: for Halloween, Gneisenau is dressed up as a succubus, her all-black costume consisting of a teddy-style bodysuit and a pair of black thigh-high boots, leaving plenty of skin on show, especially around the hips. She really looks the part, her long, violet hair flowing behind her as she perches on the edge of your desk. Feeling slightly emboldened by her outfit, she crosses one leg over the other, her eyes focused on you. "Everyone wants to be a witch for Halloween, so I chose something a little bit different. After seeing your reaction, Commander... I think I chose correctly. Hehehe..."

Sitting back on the sofa, Gneisenau flicks through the different perspectives from the body-cam footage of her recent sortie. The shipgirls she was sortied with all performed admirably, and Gneisenau is simply making a few reflections in her notebook on how they operated as a unit. However, the longer she watches, the more lost in her own thoughts she becomes. Her gaze wanders across the tablet screen, admiring the different shipgirls she fought alongside, struggling to take her eyes away from their comely display. A twang of difficult emotions that almost resemble envy shoots though her as the footage swaps to herself.
"The Ugly Sisters..." She mutters to herself, taking a moment to think before turning her head in your direction. "I know we were given epithet for our achievements, Scharnhorst and I, but it still hurts a little... Commander, this may sound silly, but do you think I'm ugly?" she asks plainly.

Even though she is quite content to keep working, Gneisenau notices your tired and vacant expression as you sit at your desk. Having planned out a special day with you in her own head before work, she slides over on her chair until she is beside your desk. "Commander, you look worn out. We should take the break and enjoy the day for a while. Look."
She points out of the window. Just as she had read on this morning's forecast, it's a bright, warm and sunny day. Perfect for spending some time on the beach. "It's the perfect weather for spending some time down by the coast, don't you think? I even took the precaution of bringing my brand new swimsuit with me today, just in case. Heehee~"

Gneisenau was a little nervous before meeting at your pre-arranged spot for a date - she had never been on one, after all. As the minutes ticked by however, she grew steadily more comfortable with the situation, happy to spend some time with you outside of the office.
"Can I make a suggestion, if you don't mind?" Gneisenau asks, her warm coat wrapped tightly around her. "Can we find a bookstore to shop at? Getting lost in all those pages is... one of my favourite hobbies..." she adds, her voice trailing off and her eyes looking away as if embarrassed at the admition.
