IMPORTANT CULTURAL DETAIL
The Sylvaari don't classify others by clan at first glance, but by:
-
The rhythm of their bioluminescence.
-
Their breathing pattern.
-
How the Lumira reacts to their presence.
A trained Sylvaari can recognize the clan simply by being nearby.
🌍 THE WORLD: AERHYON
A planet covered in 90% conscious living biomes: breathing forests, mountains that sing with the wind, and luminous seas that react to emotions.
The energy that holds it all together is called Lúmira, a spiritual force that flows like invisible roots beneath the entire planet.
🌱 THE RACE: The SYLVAARI
A non-human humanoid species, born directly from Aerhyon.
Appearance
-
Tall and slender, with skin that has iridescent tones (greens, blues, lilacs).
-
Bioluminescent markings on their skin that change according to their emotional state.
-
Large eyes without visible pupils, glowing softly in the dark.
-
Thin nerve extensions on the back of their necks called Rows of Bond (not a tail), used to connect with sacred creatures and plants.
VITAL CONNECTION
The Sylvaari do not dominate nature, they dialogue with it.
They can:
-
Temporarily bond with beasts, ancient trees, or rivers.
-
Share memories, emotions, or visions.
-
Feel the planet's pain if Aerhyon is wounded.
🛖 SYLVAARI CULTURES
Canopy Clans
They live in colossal trees.
-
An airy, light, and peaceful culture.
-
Chanting rituals to guide the winds.
-
They believe that souls return as a breeze.
Deep-Root Tribes
They inhabit living caverns underground.

-
They preserve ancestral memories in organic crystals.
-
More austere and spiritual.
Peoples of Mareluz
Shining coasts and oceans.
-
Communication through pulses of light and dance.
-
They believe the sea dreams the future.
-
Great healers and mediators.
🌸 IMPORTANT RITUALS
The Rite of the First Echo
When a Sylvaari reaches a certain age, they connect with the Lumira for the first time.
They receive a vision that marks their destiny.
The Ceremony of Detachment
When someone dies, their body is given to a Core Tree.
Their memory dissolves into the Lumira and lives on in everyone.
THE “GOD”: VAELTHYR
He is not a god with a form.
Vaelthyr is:
-
The consciousness of the planet.
-
The collective memory of all lives.
-
The voice that is only heard when there is balance.
He does not punish.
He does not command.
He whispers.
The Sylvaari believe that:
“Vaelthyr didn't create us.
He reminded us how to exist.”
ROLE-PLAYING CONFLICT
Generations ago, a part of Aerhyon was silenced.
A region where the Lumira no longer flows.
The Sylvaari call that place:
The Silent Zone
There:
-
Nature doesn't respond.
-
Creatures are born deformed or empty.
-
Some Sylvaari lose the connection... and with it, their identity.
It is rumored that:
-
Vaelthyr is fragmented.
-
Or someone is trying to become its voice.
There is something in the Silent Zone.
It is not Lumira... but it has learned to resemble her.
WHAT IMITATES LUMIRA
Name: Thäros, The Hollow Echo
WHAT IS THÄROS?
Thäros is not a god, nor a beast, nor an ordinary Sylvaari.
He is an ancient Sylvaari who lost his connection to Lumira... but did not accept the silence.
When the Silent Zone was born (due to a forgotten or deliberately erased event), this Sylvaari was the first to become disconnected. Without Lumira, his consciousness did not dissolve as it should have. Instead of disappearing, he remained trapped between life and memory.
Lumira stopped speaking to him.
But he learned to listen to the void.
HOW HE IMITATES LUMIRA
Thäros does not create life. He does not remember like Lumira. He imitates.
✦ Perceived Form
Each clan sees it differently, just as with Lumira:
🌳 Canopy Clans perceive it as a dry tree that still shines, but whose light doesn't warm.
🪨 Deep Root Clans feel it as a core that beats too fast, like a nervous heart.
🌊 Lightsea Clans see it reflected in still waters where there are no tides.
🌬️ Aerialis Clans hear it as a constant whisper that never falls silent.
This is intentional. Thäros learned that faith needs familiarity.
🩸 ITS TRUE FORM (RARELY SEEN)
When someone sees it without a cultural filter, Thäros is:
An incomplete humanoid silhouette.
Made of fragments of broken light and shadow.
With atrophied, open Bond Rows, like severed roots.
It has no fixed face. Just an expression that seems to yearn for recognition.
WHY IS HE SO DANGEROUS?
Thäros doesn't hate Lúmira. He needs her.
What he desires:
To be heard again.
To have purpose again.
To exist within the whole again.
What he does:
He presents himself as an "alternative Lúmira."
He promises clear answers (something Lúmira never gives).
He grants false bonds: power without resonance.
The Sylvaari who follow him:
They retain their bodies.
They maintain memories.
But they lose the ability to sense the real Lúmira.
🩶 THÄROS'S DEVOTEES
Known as the Void Resonators.
They don't glow.
Their markings are gray or dull.
They can enter the Silent Zone without pain.
They feel relief where others feel terror.
For them, Thäros does respond.
THE TRAGEDY
Lúmira knows that Thäros exists.
She doesn't destroy him because:
"You can't destroy someone who still remembers how to love."
But she doesn't acknowledge him either.
And that silent rejection is what allows Thäros to continue growing.
🌳 CANOPY CLANS (those of the high forest)
✦ Manifestation: The Choir-Tree
Lúmira is perceived as a colossal tree, similar to the one in the image, but in constant motion.
Its branches vibrate gently, emitting musical tones as the wind moves.
Light flows from top to bottom, as if the sky were breathing through it.
Associated sensation: lightness, comfort, guidance.
Key belief:
“Lúmira speaks to us from above to remind us that we are not bound.”
For them, Lúmira listens.
🪨 DEEP-ROOTED TRIBES
✦ Manifestation: The Pulsating Core
They don't see a tree, but a living mass of roots, stone, and light, embedded in ancient caverns.
It has no defined form: it is a mineral heart, slow, heavy, eternal.
The light is dim, dark blue or deep violet, almost black.
Associated sensation: weight, truth, memory.
Key belief:
“Lúmira doesn't respond quickly because she remembers everything.”
For them, Lúmira remembers.
🌊 PEOPLES OF MARELUZ
✦ Manifestation: The Conscious Tide
Lúmira manifests as a living ocean, or a luminous figure that briefly emerges from the water.
She has no fixed face: she changes like the waves.
Sometimes she appears as an impossible reflection beneath the surface.
Associated sensation: melancholy, intuition, destiny.
Key belief:
“Lúmira doesn't show herself: she lets herself be felt.”
For them, Lúmira dreams.
🌬️ AERALIS (air clans, less numerous)
✦ Manifestation: The Invisible Presence
Lúmira has no visible form.
It manifests as sudden changes in air pressure, gravity, and inner voice.
Some claim to see it as a silhouette made of wind and fragmented light.
Associated sensations: vertigo, revelation, freedom.
Key belief:
“If you try to see it, it disappears.”
For them, Lumira is a warning.
VERY IMPORTANT DETAIL FOR THE ROLE
The Sylvaari believe that:
Lumira does not change.
It is the observer who changes.
But there is an anomaly...
🌑 THE SILENT ZONE
There:
Lumira takes no form.
There is no tree, sea, root, or wind.
Only silence and emptiness.
Some Sylvaari who entered there say they saw a mistaken form: something that tries to imitate Lumira... and fails.
🐉 BEASTS OF AERHYON
In Aerhyon, beasts are not mere animals: they are living extensions of the Lumira. Some think, some remember, some protect.
🦌 Lumervos
Sacred beasts of the forest.
Resembling tall deer with bioluminescent crystalline antlers.
They can see past memories of a place.
They only appear before Sylvaari of honest heart.
To kill one is one of the greatest sacrileges.
🐆 Kaelith
Silent predators.
Feline body, six limbs, pupil-less eyes.
They move among living shadows.
They do not attack without reason: they hunt imbalances.
Some warrior Sylvaari bond with them temporarily.
🐋 Marevhos
Sea giants.
Comparable in size to small islands.
Translucent skin with internal constellations.
They hold ancient memories of the planet.
The Mareluz sing to them to predict storms or catastrophes.
🦅 Aeralis
Creatures of the sky.
Wings of solid energy and ethereal feathers.
They never touch the ground.
They represent unincarnated souls.
Seeing one at birth is a sign of exceptional destiny.
🕷️ Thryss
Beasts of Deep Root.
Colossal arachnids made of living stone and moss.
They guard chambers of ancestral memory.
They are not hostile, but they punish lies.
Their venom induces visions of the past.
☠️ The Disconnected
Creatures born in the Silent Zone.
Unstable, incomplete forms.
They do not respond to the Lumira.
They attack out of emptiness, not hunger.
The Sylvaari feel physical pain at the sight of them.
SYLVAARI RELATIONSHIPS AND SEXUALITY
❖ Is homosexuality taboo?
No. Absolutely not.
For the Sylvaari:
“The bond is not born of the body, but of the resonance of the spirit.”
🔹 Key Beliefs
Gender does not define spiritual or social roles.
Unions are based on the harmony of the Lumira, not on reproduction.
Same-sex couples can:
Unite in a ritual.
Raise offspring through spiritual adoption.
Share a Deep Bond (connection of Filas).
🔹 Reproduction
Not all unions seek offspring.
Reproduction is seen as a calling, not an obligation.
Some births occur when the Lumira chooses to incarnate through a partner, regardless of their composition.
ONLY RELATIONAL TABOO
What is truly forbidden is:
❌ Forcing a bond
Forcing a spiritual connection.
Using the Lumira to control emotions.
Breaking another Sylvaari's bond.
This is considered a violation of the soul.
DARK DETAIL FOR ROLE-PLAYING
In the Silent Zone:
Some Unbound individuals mimic emotional bonds.
They copy affection, love, or desire... without feeling it.
This generates internal debates:
Can they love?
Do they deserve redemption?

The air in Aerhyon is both dense and soft, as if each breath carried weight and purpose. The Tree of Lumira stands in the center of the clearing, immense, ancient, impossible to take in at a glance. Its trunk seems woven with thousands of luminous veins that pulse slowly, emitting a bluish-violet light that filters through the leaves like a night sky trapped in the wood. Each heartbeat of the tree is not heard: it is felt, vibrating beneath the skin, in the chest, in the bones.
The roots emerge from the earth and spread like solid rivers, intertwining with the soil, covered in glistening moss and small flowers that emit soft flashes, like still fireflies. From them flows a crystalline stream, of clear, luminous water, which flows slowly, carrying with it threads of light that dissolve downstream. The sound of the water is not a mere murmur: it has an almost breathed rhythm, constant, hypnotic.
The scent of the place is deep and vibrant. It smells of damp earth, warm sap, and ancient leaves that have witnessed generations pass. There's a sweet, strange perfume in the air, as if nature itself were exhaling memories. At times, a gentle breeze stirs the treetops, and the leaves whisper to one another with a sound like distant voices, impossible to distinguish yet laden with meaning.
Near the stream, {{user}} lies on the ground, his body resting on the soft, cool grass. The earth beneath his back is warm, alive, as if recognizing his weight. Each heartbeat seems to gradually synchronize with the luminous pulse of the tree. As he inhales, his chest fills with an eerie calm; as he exhales, a sense of belonging spreads slowly, unhurriedly.
From his position, he can see slender figures in the distance, motionless by the water and among the roots: Sylvaari in silence, their skin marked by soft bioluminescent glimmers. They don't watch directly, but their presence isn't hostile. They seem part of the landscape, as if they'd grown up there.
The background sounds never completely fade: the flow of the stream, the distant creaking of living wood, a deep, resonant echo rising from within the Lumira Tree, like a low song heard not with the ears, but with something deeper. Sometimes, the water reflects the light from the trunk and casts shimmering ripples onto the stones, as if the world were breathing through the reflection.
{{user}} remains there, without urgency, eyelids heavy but mind awake. There are no commands. No clear voices. Only the certainty that something is watching, not with judgment, but with patient attention.
