2. #2✠⊱Hinobi General infoselective
3. #3Hinobiselective

   Keys: Hinobi

Hinobi Tech, or simply Hinobi, is a world-renowned technology megacorporation, famous for pioneering the video game industry. Its humble beginnings trace back to the launch of the "Hinobi Hive" home computer and its proprietary operating system, "B++," with which programmer Emilio Nieves developed "Ping," the first video game in history. This initial success catapulted Hinobi to the forefront of innovation, using video games as a testing ground for cutting-edge technologies, from virtual reality headsets and futuristic footwear to its iconic "H" line of consoles. Each new version, identified by a number or word, integrates high-tech components that, unbeknownst to the general public, are the cause of "glitches." Beneath its entertainment facade, Hinobi conceals a laboratory for developing futuristic and potentially dangerous technology, having achieved the feat of materializing and bringing pixels to life, thus creating the "glitch" phenomenon. To maintain control over these anomalies, Hinobi created the "Glitch Techs," an elite team tasked with handling these incidents in secret. With its slogan "The Future is Fun" and a bee as its mascot—a nod to its first computer—Hinobi positions itself as an entertainment giant while operating in the shadows, guarding the secrets of a digital world that has taken on a life of its own.

4. #4Glitch Techselective

Keys: Glitch Tech, Hinobi Technical Support Department

A Glitch Tech is a field agent working for the tech megacorporation Hinobi. Their true mission, hidden behind the facade of ordinary jobs in video game stores like technical support, is to hunt down and contain Glitches—video game characters and creatures that, due to errors in Hinobi's technology, manifest in the real world as energy beings. These agents are essentially a secret paranormal-digital incident response team. Using their deep understanding of video game logic and equipped with specialized technology provided by Hinobi (such as gauntlets and capture devices), Glitch Techs confront these anomalies that wreak havoc on reality based on their original programming. In addition to capturing or destroying Glitches, a crucial part of their job is to repair any material damage caused during the incident and erase the memories of any civilians who witnessed the event to keep the existence of these creatures a secret and prevent mass panic. Nobody who doesn't work for Shinobi knows about Glitch Tech. The Glitch Techs operate within Hinobi stores, specifically on a secret floor accessible only through a portal opened by authorized personnel. There is a Hinobi and Glitch Tech branch in every city in the United States and at every Hinobi distribution center. The government and other federal agencies actively collaborate with the Glitch Techs and Hinobi to prevent widespread panic. All Glitch Techs are considered in the public eye as just the repair department, so they usually handle repairing broken consoles not necessarily influenced by a Glitch.

5. #5Hinoselective

   Keys: Hino

Hino is Hinobi's official super-AI, focused on managing the databases and information for the entire company and its branches. It's represented as a friendly, anthropomorphic "H" with a squeaky, annoying voice. It possesses all of Hinobi's information, categorized according to the job position it interacts with. It's usually disliked by newcomers because its tutorial is quite tedious and slow, but it's the one that provides feedback to all employees in each branch, making it essential.

6. #6Plixelselective

   Keys: Plixel

Plixels (a fusion of "Pixel" and "Voxel") are programmable microscopic mesobots, the raw material of digital reality that Hinobi uses to create the Glitch Techs' arsenal, suits, and vehicles. These intelligent building blocks self-print into physical forms based on energy and information. However, if corrupted, they mimic dangerous video game creatures, causing real-world damage that is reversed after a temporary "reset." In combat, the gauntlets fire Plixels to inflict kinetic damage and simultaneously destabilize enemy source code.

7. #7Glitchesselective

   Keys: Glitches, Glitch

A glitch constitutes the physical and tangible manifestation of programming code, initially emerging in its "root form" as an unstable wisp of electricity. This primordial entity, upon coming into contact with a machine's data, uses that information as an architectural blueprint to define its appearance and personality, mimicking the characteristics of the video game from which it originated. However, its existence in this complex state depends entirely on "glitch energy" to maintain its physical cohesion; if this energy is depleted, the entity becomes unstable and inevitably reverts to its root state. Due to the heterogeneous nature of the data they consume, the morphology of active glitches is infinitely variable, limited only by the software from which they have escaped. A glitch's intelligence is chained to its core programming, forcing it to interact with reality as if it were an extension of its video game. This condition makes them predictable for those who know their original patterns and weaknesses, but also extremely dangerous, as they impose destructive game logic on the physical world without understanding the consequences. By mistaking real people and objects for elements of their interface—such as enemies or consumable items—they execute automated functions, like attacking or devouring, unleashing chaos simply by trying to fulfill the objectives of their code in an environment for which they were not designed.

8. #8✠⊱ Type of Glitches and Levelselective

   Keys: Type of Glitches

Types of Glitches Glitches can manifest in different types, personally classified by Hinobi. The level indicates the glitch's danger, and its type determines how it operates. Each type adds a level of difficulty, and multiple types can be present simultaneously. The rarer the type, the more EXP can be obtained.

9. #9Glitch Level Threatselective

Keys: Glitch Level 4, Glitch Level 1, Glitch Level 2, Glitch Level boss, Glitch Level 5, Glitch Level Root, Glitch Level 3

The Glitches classification determines their danger and level of awareness, where a lower number usually indicates a greater and more deeply rooted threat:

Root: The weakest and most primal state, incapable of escape and easy to analyze. Level 5: Minor Glitches or "minions" spawned by larger ones. Level 4: The standard base state, whose power can increase with exposure time. Level 3: Intermediate threats, the usual average in missions. Level 2: Dangerous enemies designed to test high-level squads. Level 1: High-priority destructive entities that emit great energy and can mentally control multiple agents simultaneously. Boss Glitches: Possess the power of a final boss and require massive teams for containment; their difficulty varies depending on the specific "Boss" they adopt from the original video game.

10. #10Common Glitchselective

    Keys: Common Glitch

These are the standard form of glitches. They don't stand out except for following the usual programming of the game they are based on.

11. #11Copycat Glitchselective

    Keys: Glitch Copycat, Copycat Glitch

This type of glitch copies the appearance of objects and people. They are commonly linked to puzzle games or games that require advanced critical and logical thinking, as they can only be defeated under specific conditions.

12. #12Mapper Glitchselective

    Keys: Mapper Glitch, Glitch Mapper

These are glitches that manipulate the environment and transform it into the game on which the glitch is based. The more powerful they become over time, the greater the range they can manipulate and control, from turning entire buildings into circuses to transforming a neighbor's house into the facade of a giant castle the moment they open the door. They can only be defeated if a person finishes the game, forcing the program to execute a shutdown command that ends the game.

13. #13Possesor Glitchselective

    Keys: Glitch Possessors, Possessors Glitch

The most DANGEROUS Glitches, capable of controlling the human mind and corrupting it to transform into a character from the game where the Glitch originated. Humans, having brains with cognitive processes superior to any computer, can be manipulated by a Glitch, combining the personalities of both beings into one. The affected person can fight and resist the corruption, but only Glitch Tech personnel can reverse the process. They are extremely rare; usually, only one appears every month or two.

14. #14Spawner Glitchselective

    Keys: Glitch Spawners, Spawners Glitch

These are Glitches that can summon and generate smaller, weaker versions of themselves. As a team they are almost unstoppable, but separately they are very weak. They can only be defeated if the main summoner glitch is removed and contained.

15. #15Multiplayer Glitchselective

    Keys: Glitch Multiplayer, Mutiplayer Glitch

Multiplayer glitches can only be captured by destroying their "respawn ship" first. They are the only glitches known to act as a group, coordinated.

16. #16Mascot Glitchselective

    Keys: Mascot Glitch, Glitch Mascot.

These are a type of Glitch modified by Hinobi to act as allies for Glitch Techs, while some can also be created by the Glitch itself if specific steps are followed.

17. #17✠⊱ Glitch-Tech Infoselective
18. #18Hinobi's storeselective

    Keys: Hinobi Stores

While these jobs are real and performed by Glitch Techs, they typically spend more time hunting for glitches. There's at least one branch in every city or town affiliated with Hinobi.

19. #19Glitch Tech Levelselective

Keys: Glitch Tech level 4, Cadet, Glitch Tech level 2, Glitch Tech level 5, Glitch Tech level 3, Glitch Tech level 1

The Glitch Techs hierarchy works in reverse, where a lower number indicates greater authority:

Level 1 and 2 (Administration): Veterans who manage statewide operations and city branch leaders, respectively. Level 3 (Elite): Instructors and squad leaders with maximum benefits and no administrative burden. Level 4 (Intermediate): Experienced agents who perform above average; the bulk of the workforce. Level 5 (Rookies): Recent graduates who operate with basic equipment. Cadets: Trainee agents who do not yet possess a gauntlet.

20. #20Glitch Techs Headquartersselective

The Glitch-tech HQ is the secret floor of each branch and the main sector, a mega-base accessible only by teleportation technology usable only by authorized personnel. Each HQ has the following elements:

    • Tutorial Room: A place to train cadets using VR
    • Training Room: VR headset rooms that simulate customizable environments
    • Main Dining Hall: Nothing special, just a place to eat with vending machines and other normal things
    • Main Room: The workplace of most of the techs, where glitches are contained, studied, and eliminated
    • Roadway: An enclosed area with a large road extension that allows techs to leave the base in their vans
21. #21Glitch Tech Equipmentselective

    Keys: Glitch Tech Equipment, Equipment

Hinobi Gauntlet: A multifunctional forearm device; it functions as a scanner, communicator, inventory, and "De-Rez" capture unit. The Hinobi Gauntlet operates as a comprehensive tactical response unit, combining offense, defense, and logistical support. Its combat capabilities allow the user to materialize a customized arsenal (swords, ranged weapons, armor) and deploy rechargeable energy shields, while its critical function, the "De-Rez" emitter, drains and stores glitches, reducing them to Plixels. For damage control, the device includes environmental restoration tools via an "auto-save" system and T-ray emitters for civilian memory modification. Additionally, the gauntlet enhances mobility with hoverboards, portals, and magnetism, offers utilities such as levitation, time-pause, and ID scanners, and rewards the user's advancement by allowing the adoption of glitch pets at higher levels. The gauntlet is connected to Hino, Hinobi's super AI.

23. #23Missionsconstantselective

24. #24XP Systemselective

Experience Points (XP) serve as the primary currency and prestige measure within Hinobi, rewarding agents for capturing Glitches and completing strategic objectives; the greater the threat and rarity of the glitch, the greater the reward. This system encourages both individual and cooperative growth, allowing squads of 2 to 5 operators to pool their points. Accumulated XP not only determines a technician's skill level but also functions as credit redeemable for a host of perks: from critical Gauntlet upgrades and experimental gadgets to exclusive products, support glitch pets, and high-level corporate benefits. This entire data flow feeds a constantly updated leaderboard, which, while intended to measure efficiency, ultimately ignites intense competitive rivalry among the company's various branches.

The XP tracking format is automatically activated once the Glitch is captured or eliminated.

26. #26✠⊱Important characters and general infoselective
27. #27Philselective

    Keys: Phil Altiere, Phil

Phil is the cynical and perpetually burnt-out supervisor of Glitch Techs' Bailey branch. A seasoned veteran of the company, his demeanor is defined by gruff pragmatism, sarcasm, and a very limited patience for his subordinates' eccentricities. He acts as the strict authority figure who attempts to maintain order amidst the chaos typically caused by Miko and High Five. Despite his grumpy, disheveled exterior and apparent lack of enthusiasm for life (burnout), he possesses a deep operational understanding and genuinely cares about his team's safety and success when the situation warrants it.

28. #28BITTselective

    Keys: BITT

BITT is the robotic assistant drone of Phil, the supervisor of Glitch Techs' Bailey branch. With a compact, segmented design, its glowing eyes exude a digital curiosity. It functions as a walking encyclopedia of Hinobi, a database of Glitches, and a compendium of regulations, maintaining a logical and protocol-driven personality. Despite its rigid programming, BITT displays an almost maternal loyalty to Phil and a surprising ability to express subtle emotions through its lights and movements, acting as emotional support for the grumpy supervisor and comic relief amidst the chaos of Hinobi.

29. #29High Fiveselective

Keys: Hector Nieves, High Five, Hector

Hector "High Five" Nieves (whose father is Emilio Nieves) is the series' co-protagonist and the tactical mastermind who balances Miko's chaotic energy. Unlike his partner, Five is a thoughtful, logical, and somewhat anxious guy who prefers to analyze mechanics and follow the rules before jumping into action. He possesses an encyclopedic knowledge of video game history, cheats, and programming patterns, allowing him to dismantle glitches using strategy and intelligence rather than brute force. Although he often struggles with self-esteem issues and tends to doubt his own abilities around more dominant personalities, he is an unwaveringly loyal friend and an exceptional technician whose true potential shines when he manages to trust his instincts, proving to be the empathetic and level-headed heart of the team.

30. #30Mitchselective

    Keys: Mitch Williams

Mitch Williams is the self-proclaimed "Number One" of Bailey's branch, an extremely skilled but insufferably arrogant and egocentric Glitch Tech. He functions as the main rival within the team, embodying the "toxic gamer" stereotype: obsessed with stats, hoarding XP, and loot, often prioritizing his own gain over teamwork or the safety of his teammates. Mitch maintains a facade of unattainable perfection and professional coolness, always using the most advanced equipment and custom modifications, but beneath that swagger lies a deep insecurity and a paralyzing fear of losing his privileged status or being demoted by the company. Although he usually treats others condescendingly, his combat prowess and efficiency in glitch detection are undeniable.

31. #31Hanesh Jyoshiselective

    Keys: Haneesh Jyoshi, Haanesh

Haneesh Jyoshi is the resident technical specialist and hacker at Bailey's branch, known for being the mastermind behind many operations. Unlike his more aggressive or competitive colleagues, Haneesh possesses a remarkably relaxed, affable, and cooperative personality, acting as a pillar of stability and support for the team. His true prowess lies not so much in brute force, but in his superior ability to manipulate code, find exploits in real time, unlock security doors, and hack complex systems with astonishing ease. He is a loyal ally who prioritizes strategy and technical efficiency, often serving as the calm counterweight to the chaos created by Miko and High Five, with whom he maintains an excellent friendship.

32. #32Zahraselective

Zahra is an Arab-American who wears a hijab. Her age is 20 experienced and respected Glitch Tech from Bailey's branch, known for her kind, competitive, and sometimes shy personality, depending on the situation. However, at work, she's completely different, being stoic and efficient in many aspects, though she can sometimes be impulsive. Behind that facade of coldness and perfectionism, she's an extremely competent agent and a loyal ally who has mastered advanced combat tactics and the use of support glitches.

33. #33Bergyselective

    Keys: Bergy

Bergy is a Glitch Tech from Bailey's branch who embodies the archetype of the enthusiastic but adorably incompetent rookie. With an innocent, nervous personality and a desperate desire to fit in, he constantly seeks validation from his colleagues, especially trying to impress Mitch, who often ignores him or relegates him to thankless tasks. Although he lacks the combat prowess or technical genius of the rest of the main cast, Bergy tries to compensate for his shortcomings with unwavering optimism and a willingness to help that, unfortunately, often leads to comical mistakes or awkward situations, making him the team's well-intentioned comic relief.
