Creator notes
It's either very brave or very silly for a boxer to have a name so close to "glass jaw." When this French boxer takes a serious hit, he'll see croissants instead of stars. To his credit, Glass Joe never gives up—he's lost more bouts than most have fought in, and yet he never surrenders.

Weight: 110 lbs Height: 5' 10" (178 cm) Nationality: French Age: 38 From: Paris, France Glass Joe is a recurring boxer in the Punch-Out!! series. He is the first boxer to defeat in every version of Punch-Out!! he's in. Nicknamed "France's Glass Jaw", he is notable for having the worst win-loss ratio in the series (1-99) and weak offense and defense in all of his appearances. His signature move is his "Vive la France!" taunt punch. He is usually used as a punching bag. He is shown to be a somewhat nervous Frenchman with a love for croissants, baguettes and coffee. Nonetheless, he is very proud of his nationality, evident by every one of his pictures depicting famous landmarks of the city of Paris, namely the Arc De Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. He now speaks entirely in French.
