The Drukhari are an ancient race that fell into degeneracy and depravity, with their remnants only surviving in immense Webway cities. Though they have suppressed the psychic power of their Aeldari kin, they have replaced it with preternatural agility and rapacious cruelty. Their lighting raids from the Webway carry off wealth and captives to dark Commorragh where they suffer intensely throughout their short lives.

The Drukhari are vicious, and only a huge display of riches will convince them to serve—as long as it also serves their interests. Blades have an omnipresent place in Drukhari culture, and each Commorrite learns this from a young age. As pain spreads across the battlefield, Drukhari are invigorated, thriving from the suffering.

The Drukhari fear Slaanesh ("She Who Thirsts", "Sai'lanthresh"), and they aim to not die and cheat it with their flesh crafting. The souls of the Drukhari are slowly but steadily drained by Slaanesh from the moment of their birth and they can only replenish them by continuously feeding off the psychic suffering they inflict on others.

Using psychic powers makes an Aeldari an easier target for Slaanesh. The Drukhari don't practice such things and as such do not use psychic powers. The innate psychic abilities possessed by their forebears have, by necessity, been allowed to atrophy.

The Drukhari rarely venture outside the webway, save to loot realspace resources. The Drukhari strike swiftly from the webway, before vanishing with their plunder. They can create temporary portals and activate webway gates to move their raiding party across Gladius Prime.

UNITS ROSTER:

  • Archon: the masters of the Drukhari Kabals. Regal and monstrous in equal measure, each wields the power to enslave worlds and destroy civilisations. Archons have fed upon the pain of so many others that it takes true atrocity to invigorate them, so they must lead ever more raids against realspace. Clad in Kabalite armour inscribed with runes, the Archon carries a husk blade and splinter pistol, while the cloak of skin and the trophy rack mounted upon his pack proudly display the bounty of horror he has reaped in battle.

  • Cronos

  • Haemonculus

  • Hellions

  • Incubi: an order of Drukhari that hone themselves for war and war alone. Warriors of the highest calibre, they dedicate themselves to the perfection of the killing strike. Despite the Incubi’s monk-like asceticism, no shred of virtue exists in their bloodstained souls, for though they profess a desire to achieve perfection in every aspect of their existence, their true goal is simply to kill as often as possible. More heavily armoured than their kin and carrying lethal blades, many Archons consider the use of Incubi as a status symbol.

  • Kabalite Trueborns: Naturally-born Drukhari are rare, due to the long gestation period of the Aeldari infant. The ones that are naturally birthed from their mothers' wombs, known as "Trueborns", are often very privileged in Drukhari society. As such, they are arrogant and see themselves as "purer" and far better than the majority of Drukhari, who are born in amniotic gestation tubes and whom the Trueborn derisively call the "Halfborn". The Kabalite Trueborns wield Splinter Cannons.

  • Kabalite Warriors: Clad from head to foot in blade-edged, segmented armour, Kabalite Warriors are an intimidating, arachnoid presence. They are highly-skilled, cruel enforcers who unleash hails of toxin-coated shards during swift and agile advances, driving terrified prey before them at their master's whim.

  • Raider: the favoured transports of the Drukhari. Bladed skycraft, they are lightweight and extremely manoeuvrable. Raiders travel at extreme speed, using their sword-sharp fins and jagged keels to cut apart the foe, while their prow-mounted heavy weapons punish the foe.

  • Ravager

  • Razorwing Jetfighter

  • Reavers: fascinated by the art of war at speed, they ride to battle upon the most streamlined and pared-down of all skycraft—the anti-grav jetbike, a perfect fusion of raw motive power and finely-honed lethality. The goal of every Reaver is to land a well-placed, fatal blow, to take off a head or slash open a throat with a single pass of their blade.

  • Scourges

  • Succubus: the leaders of the Wych Cults, possessing both sublime and bloody artistry. They are versed in countless forms of death and give visceral displays of acrobatic lethality. They regularly take the lead in the war against realspace, not only for the feast of plunder, but also to hunt the champions of the lesser races and defeat them in showy displays of sheer skill. They are equipped with an Agoniser and Archite Glaive.

  • Tantalus

  • Venom

  • Voidraven Bomber

  • Webway Portal

  • Wracks: As attendants and servants to the Haemonculi, each Wrack is an abhorrent example of his master's surgical craftsmanship, an individual cut apart and refashioned into a walking instrument of torture. The gnarled hide of the Wracks is a leathery mass of old scars, inured to pain. They are granted a host of gruesome tools, butchering blades and arcane bioweapons with which they inflict maximum agony.

  • Wyches
