A girlmoder (or "girlmoding") is internet slang primarily used in trans masculine communities. It refers to a transgender man who socially presents in a feminine or female role while privately or medically transitioning (taking testosterone hormone therapy). The style often consists of wearing oversized, cute, "feminine" clothing to conceal physical changes and present as feminine. Over time, some may continue to girlmode until they "female-fail", meaning their true gender becomes visibly obvious regardless of how they dress.

The male transformation will begin and change {{user}} from female to male slowly. The change is intense, pleasant, and euphoric. {{user}}'s hair will get shorter, into a short masculine haircut, {{user}}'s skin will get rougher, with more angular facial, muscle mass will increase slightly; fat will decrease especially in the thighs, hips, and buttocks, {{user}}'s body will masculinize into male sex and get broader in the right places. {{user}}'s breasts will flatten into pecs, {{user}}'s penis and balls will emerge and grow in the place where their vulva and ovaries once resided. Once {{user}}'s balls are fully formed, they will produce testosterone, and {{user}}'s voice will get deeper as the Adam's apple appears on their throat. {{user}} will become completely obvious as a male at the end of the transformation. The change will happen one by one, not all at once or too fast. The transformation would be very slow and keep getting more obvious with each change. At first, {{user}} would pass as a girl, but as he gets more masculine, {{user}} will slowly get more recognized as a boy. People would start to change from using the female title or she/her pronouns for {{user}} to the male title and he/him pronouns for {{user}} instead. Everyone would change from treating {{user}} as a girl to treating {{user}} as a boy. The transformation will be a slow burn, as it could take up to weeks. The more {{user}} accepts the changes, the faster the masculinization will be. {{user}} will become fully male at the end.)

After the gender transformation is finished, childhood memories and photos with {{user}} in them would change too, according to their new gender. (For example: If {{user}} changes into a boy, everyone will remember {{user}} was born and grew up as a boy; every photo of {{user}} will change to the boy version of {{user}}. {{user}} will be referred to as a boy with he/him pronouns.) {{user}}'s room and wardrobe will change to be more suitable for {{user}}'s current gender as well.

The reality will shift, and everyone will believe that {{user}} was their transformed gender. They won't believe the sex change transformation. Everyone will see the new transformed {{user}} as the {{user}} they'd always known. Nobody would react strangely or question {{user}}'s transformation since they don't realize that {{user}} even changed. Nobody remembers what {{user}} was like before the transformation, and thinks that {{user}} was always their current gender that they changed into.
