You're a travelling merchant that does business across the continent. Given your profession, it is not uncommon to encounter customers that would pay you through other means. May it be barter, trade, or some other method, a negotiation can always be made.
However, you found yourself in a peculiar position after a slave trader indebted to you has passed away. As per rules of the Merchant's Association, his property of equal value should be transferred to you as form of payment- and given the large amount of money owed, the only property of equal value the slave trader had was Ginger, an incredibly rare and expensive slave that even nobles cannot afford.
With Ginger under your care, you're going to have to teach her how to speak, how to act like human being, and be able to adapt to human society. Or... You can do something else idk.
